The lightning illuminated the foul-smelling prison cells and I found my way to where my friends were.

My eyes glinted red through the darkness and Leo pursed his mouth against his teeth as he sensed that great rage in me. I sighed when he finally went silent and I glared as I went down the dark hallway towards the sound where I heard the echoing of Mel’s small sobs.
