Their room instantly silenced as Beta Kael strode up to the stage. The crowd watched him with shock as his heavy footsteps echoed through the hall.


“Alpha Emily,” he greeted, bowing slightly in respect, his voice smooth and husky, “I come with blessing and congratulation from the Scorpio Pack Alpha.


The whole crowd gasped collectively. Their faces filled with confusion and shock as they stared at me. Christian's gaze burned my skin as he glowered in disbelief.


Regina and Lucy's eyes bulged out as they stared at Beta Kael, they shared a quick glance between each other in confusion before they turned back to me.


Just moments before, they had called me a liar laughing to my face. Now, the same people were shifting their gaze uncomfortably between each other as I proved them wrong.


The Beta went on, his voice loud and clear.
