Chapter 96

The car rolled to a stop in front of the pack office. Outside, staff moved snappy, their chatter filling the air. It was a typical day, but there was an undercurrent of tension I couldn’t quite place.

I adjusted my cufflinks as my gaze swept across the scene before me. Near the entrance, a few employees had gathered, their voices lowered to murmurs. Their eyes flicked toward my car, stiffening as they recognized me. The Alpha.
