Sibel’s POV
"I'm not a pretender, Cara. It's you who failed to see me for who I truly am."
"And who are you? An Omega? Do you want to tell us another lie?" Cara said, laughing.
"It's not a lie, Cara. I am the largest shareholder of this store."
The clerk stared at me in disbelief, her lips twitching into a sneer. "You? The largest shareholder? That’s the funniest thing I’ve heard all day." She glanced over at Cara, who stopped laughing, her posture rigid with annoyance. The two shared a knowing look before bursting into laughter as if I had just told them the most absurd joke.
Cara, still chuckling, turned back to me with an exaggerated smirk. "You? A shareholder? In what world, Sibel? You’re nothing but a lowly Omega. Even if you worked your whole life, you couldn’t afford a single share, let alone be the largest shareholder."
