Chapter 46

Eileen’s POV

I couldn't believe my eyes. The person I'd been belittling and bullying... was the Chief Beta to the Alpha Princess?

My mind reeled. How could this be? I thought I knew who he was. Just a lowly omega. But now, his authority and power stared me down.

My face burned with shame and regret. My arrogance and ignorance had blinded me. I'd made a grave mistake. Dylan's calm demeanor unnerved me.

His eyes seemed to bore into my soul. I felt small and insignificant. My pride crumbled. "I've been so blind," I thought.

"I've gotten myself into bigger trouble than I thought," I panicked. Memories of my cruel words flooded my mind.

"Dylan, the lowly omega," I'd sneered.

"A pretender, acting as the Chief Beta," I'd taunted.

And now, the truth stared me down.

Dylan, the actual Chief Beta to the Alpha Princess.

My gaze shifted to Sibel.

"No, it can't be," I thought, horror creeping in.

"Sibel, the Alpha Princess?"

My mind reeled.

"This is all a lie," I desperately hoped.
