Jolie’s POV
I stood there, frozen for a moment, as the crowd murmur about me harshly. They mock me and it got me angry... And sad. The dress...my dress...on her body as if it is her own dress, but I knew the truth. She had stolen it. I had left it in the dressing room, and she had taken it as her own.
I was scared because I was an Omega, and in this world, that meant little respect and fewer rights. It meant being silenced, being overlooked, being laughed at, just like they were doing to me now. “How could she afford such a dress?” they sneered. "An Omega claiming royalty?" They didn’t believe me. No one ever did.
But then, I remembered something... Sibel words from before. She had told me that even Omegas had a right to fight for what was theirs. She had inspired me to be bold, to stand up for my own interests. I wasn’t going to let Cara get away with this. Not this time.
I took a deep breath. I wasn’t going to be weak anymore.
