Chapter 57

Sibel's POV

I stood there, my patience hanging by a thread. The nerve of that clerk, mocking me in front of everyone as if she had the right. The moment Dylan revealed I was the largest shareholder, I saw the realization hit her like a slap in the face. Her defiance crumbled into panic, and I could almost taste her fear. But it wasn’t enough.

“Please,” the clerk stammered, her eyes wide as she suddenly fell to her knees. “I didn’t know. I’m so sorry! Please, I need this job. I didn’t mean to offend you. I didn’t know who you were.”

I watched as she trembled, her tears flowing freely now. I could see she was desperate, but my anger didn’t wane. How quickly people beg for mercy when they realize who holds the power. It would have been almost pathetic if I wasn’t so furious. An Alpha princess? A mockery? She dared to question my rank and dismiss me as nothing more than my bloodline. She was wrong, and I had no desire to forgive her.
