Dylan’s POV
Sibel’s sudden appearance threw me off completely. I had been thinking of leaving the pack for a while now. I’ve lived here for over a decade, and it became my second home. But things have changed. I knew I had to go. My people needed me, and I couldn’t keep putting it off. Yet, seeing her again made me hesitate, made me question everything I had been planning for months.
There was something about her presence that stirred old feelings. I didn’t want to leave her behind, not like this. But I had no choice.
I took a deep breath, gathering the courage to say what I had been avoiding for weeks. “Princess Sibel,” I began, my voice steady but my heart heavy, “I think it’s time for me to go back. You’ve grown so much; you’re a strong heir now. You don’t need me anymore.”
