Sibel’s POV
I took a deep breath as I slowly walked to the stage, my heart steady but my mind racing with everything I needed to say. The banquet hall was filled with people, all eyes turning toward me as I picked up the microphone. This was the moment I had been waiting for, the moment to finally address the issue that had been eating away at me since I returned to the pack.
“Good evening, everyone,” I began, my voice echoing through the room. “I’m Sibel, daughter of Alpha.”
A few murmurs rippled through the crowd. I wasn’t exactly a stranger, but most of them hadn’t seen me in a while. I’d been away, fighting battles and alongside the pack’s warriors. But that wasn’t why I was here tonight.
“I was wounded on the battlefield some time ago,” I continued, “so I returned to the pack to recover. But in the time that I’ve been back, I’ve seen something that deeply troubles me.”
