Dylan’s POV

I watched Sibel walk into the banquet hall like she had made up her mind. I tried to catch up, but I was too late. By the time I reached her, she had already picked up the microphone. My heart sank. She was really going to do this, and I couldn’t stop her now.

She started speaking, telling everyone about my pack’s situation, how we were on the edge of destruction. The room went quiet at first, but then the murmurs started. I could hear the guests whispering, some shocked, some angry. The conversations grew louder, and I picked up bits and pieces.

“Why should we get involved in another pack’s war?” one person asked.

“This isn’t our fight,” another voice said.

A few even questioned Sibel’s position. “Is she really fit to be Alpha if she’s making decisions like this?” someone muttered.
