The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess is Short n' Sweet like Brat. Nowhere near green but it does make one grin like an amusement record. Skipping the whole 'released by Amusement Record' part, Midwest Princess became a sleeper hit and for that achievement, it was awarded the slipper. Therefore, the Midwest Princess is Cinderella.


I am Cinderella. That's a folktale. Folk tail the slipper to slip into the prettiest reality but never catch it for the slipper is as fast as the wind…and eight-legged. Slippy's the name and the S is for Short n' Sweet. The first letter in six, six impossible things to think about before breakfast and S is the first of 'em. 

Short n' Sweet is long and sour. Six like S-l-i-p-p-y. So is Short n' Sweet, just like Brat. Sixth album too, it's Slippy but more Sleipnir. Less the slipper but its all stallion, all pop like Meg.
