The Hidden Rivalry ep 4 s3

The 7th Prince opened his eyes, feeling the surge of energy coursing through him. He had stepped into Level 1 of cultivation, the first step toward true power. But he knew this was only the beginning.

The night breeze was cool against his skin as he rose from meditation beneath the Valor Tree. Just as he was about to return to his chambers, a voice rang out from the shadows.

"Impressive. But do you really think you can surpass us just by unlocking Level 1?"

The 7th Prince turned sharply, his gaze locking onto the 3rd Prince—a cold and calculating youth known for his intelligence rather than his strength. Behind him stood a few nobles and guards, all watching with amusement.

"You're talented, little brother," the 3rd Prince continued, stepping forward. "But in the imperial court, talent alone is worthless. Power is built through alliances and strategy. Without them, you're nothing."

The 7th Prince clenched his fists but remained silent.

"Let me give you a warning," the 3rd Prince whispered, his eyes gleaming with hidden intent. "Do not get in my way, or I'll make sure you regret ever being born a prince."

With that, he turned and disappeared into the night, leaving the 7th Prince standing alone beneath the moonlight.

The Grandmaster's Lesson

The next morning, training resumed.

Leo Chang watched as the 7th Prince and the other students practiced swordsmanship. The teacher's daughter, Lian, stood at a distance, observing quietly.

Seeing her gaze, the 7th Prince felt a strange warmth in his chest. But before he could dwell on it, Leo Chang called him forward.

"You've taken your first step in cultivation, but now comes the real challenge," the Grandmaster said. "To grow stronger, you must face someone stronger than you."

He gestured to the side, where a young man dressed in black robes stepped forward.

"This is Wei Shen, a warrior from the outer sect. He is at Level 5, far beyond you. Fight him."

The 7th Prince's heart pounded. His first real battle was about to begin.
