Beginning of Hunt

Raised in perfection but bound by fated sin. Truth collides with wrongdoing in a world that revolves around judgment, fear, and rejection.

In this world thrive two young men—one from a well-fated home, the other from the abyss. Marked by destiny to be bound as one, yet their hearts refuse to grant the chance.

A man of supremacy stood before the devil, pleading to shape his family's destiny. But everything under the paws of the devil comes with punishment.

"Are you sure about your decision, Mr. Leon? After this, you can't change your mind. The choice is yours to make. I shall take tenfold of what is given. Wealth is what you seek, and wealth shall it be," the devil said.

That was long ago—a contract signed with the devil in exchange for wealth and fame. The McLaren family received it all, but fate had a different plan for them.

A son of Leon McLaren, Levi McLaren, was to pay the debt. A shattered destiny and painful downfall awaited the McLaren family for joining hands with the devil.

Levi had no idea what destiny held for him. His perfection, his upbringing in good morals—everything was about to be shattered by a single mistake.

In a city colder than death, as the night rose, the spirit of Macedonia awakened. Behold, the son of the demon lord—the one destined to bring doom to humankind—was sent on a journey to destroy the McLaren family.

His first agenda: to infiltrate the McLaren household and devour them all, while also seeking another prey for the devil.

His arrival into the mortal world brought chaos—a thunderstorm and hurricane ravaged the city, heralding doom's arrival from the abyss.

"Leave me alone! Somebody help!" a woman cried out in desperation.

Behold, there he stood—a handsome man with a charm so captivating, even heaven would struggle to resist.

"I can help, but on one condition," he said, pulling out a parchment from nowhere.

"You have to sign—sign away your freedom to me. Do as I wish, and I will take away the pain. You are on the brink of death. Decide your fate, and so shall it be," he declared.

The young woman, already losing her breath, trapped between life and death, made her choice—doom.

"You will be my companion. With honor, you will obey me, and I shall determine how you live. Disobey me, and you perish at once," he added.

"Okay," she responded, sealing her fate. A demon had found a human companion, ready to wipe out all who owed the devil.

---

A few days later, he and the young woman, now his shadow, stepped into the world. She was tasked with teaching him how humans lived—how to blend in as one of them. And she did her job perfectly.

Her name was Monica—a girl who had never known peace but found solace working with a demon.

Monica showed him around—how to buy, how to speak, how to eat and drink like a human. He adapted quickly.

She gave him a name. "Jaceon Devon—that will be your human name. Make sure you remember it," she said.

"Oh, come on, Monica. I'm not a fool. I'm intelligent—far more intelligent than any human on this planet," he scoffed.

"Oh, please," Monica rolled her eyes. "Says the one who wants to kill someone at the slightest irritation."

"Well, I'll save that hunger for the McLaren family. Tell me where I can find those bastards—let's get started," he said.

And so, the hunt began.
