The Genesis of Naraka
Once, when the universe was still a blank canvas awaiting divine touch, the Creator, majestic and indescribable, birthed Naraka.
Not out of anger or loneliness, but from a pure desire to create beauty and harmony.
Naraka, as described in the Book of the Genesis Sun Tree found in Alden, the capital of the Jindara Kingdom, is depicted as a ripe fruit, ready to be plucked and inhabited, a gem among the stars scattered across the cosmos.
The Creator, with powerful hands of compassion, formed the first eight souls from cosmic dust and starlight. Akh, the eldest, was born as the embodiment of Will, a force that flowed through every vein of Naraka, the pulse that drove all creation.
The other four siblings, Wetan, Boreas, Minami, and Al Gharb, were created to guard the four corners of the world, becoming the pillars that supported Naraka's cosmic balance. They were the initial guardians, appointed rulers to maintain the harmony of this newborn world.
However, the Creator felt something was missing from the symphony of His creation. Thus, He created Laila and Yom, twins who divided time into day and night, sun and moon, two sides of an inseparable cosmic coin.
Laila, with her golden light, represented life and growth, while Yom, with his soft silver light, represented mystery and peace. With their presence, Naraka became complete, a symphony of light and darkness, life and death, an eternal dance that reflected the cycles of the cosmos.
"Behold," the Creator spoke to His children, His voice echoing throughout Naraka, "I have given you a perfect dwelling, and you shall be the rulers over all that is within it. Guard this world wisely, and let My will be done through you."
However, like a sweet fruit often attracting destructive worms, arrogance and the desire for power crept into Akh's heart.
He, who was supposed to be the embodiment of divine will, poisoned Naraka with his dark ambition, manipulating Laila and Yom to birth the Grand Aeon, false gods who thirsted for worship and power.
Akh's actions tore the fabric of Naraka, transforming a pure paradise into a hell filled with chaos and suffering.
Tulah, fragments of Akh's soul released in the chaos, spread like poison, corrupting the world's order and the souls of the Grand Aeon. This destructive force threatened to destroy everything the Creator had so carefully crafted.
The Creator, angered to see His creation stained by misguided free will, punished Akh by imprisoning him in Asvethama Seddam, a time prison located at the edge of reality, where he would contemplate his mistakes for eternity.
Laila and Yom, who had become instruments in Naraka's downfall, were cursed to forever circle the world as the sun and moon, witnessing the consequences of their actions.
Naraka, without the direct guidance of the Creator, began to decay, plagued by an eternal conflict between the forces of light and darkness. However, the Creator, in His infinite wisdom, did not abandon His world in despair.
He created Jagannath, the master of time, who was tasked with maintaining Naraka's balance and ensuring that time continued to flow, providing opportunities for redemption and hope.
And thus is the story of Naraka, from a paradise created with love and hope to a battlefield between free will and destiny, between light and darkness.
A story that will continue to resonate throughout the cosmos, reminding all beings of the power of creation and the consequences of their choices.
