Chaotic Chaos

The first day of high school was always chaotic, filled with fresh faces, nervous energy, and the excitement of new beginnings. Kang Jiheon, a quiet and introspective person, wasn't particularly looking forward to it. If it weren't for Shin Hyunjae, his overly persistent and social best friend, he might have avoided making new connections altogether.

Jiheon and Hyunjae had been friends since middle school, after Jiheon transfer despite their vastly different personalities. Hyunjae had latched onto Jiheon early on, ignoring his introverted tendencies and treating him like a close friend until Jiheon gradually accepted their friendship. They weren't the type to have deep conversations often, but their silent understanding of each other made their bond strong.

That morning, the two of them met at the school's front gate. Hyunjae, as usual, was full of energy.

"Jiheon! Let's go together," he grinned, clapping a hand on Jiheon's shoulder.

Jiheon simply nodded in response, used to Hyunjae's enthusiasm.

They walked inside and soon found out they were assigned to the same class. Hyunjae cheered at the coincidence, while Jiheon was relieved that at least he wouldn't be completely alone.

Classroom Introductions

As they settled in, their homeroom teacher began calling names for roll call.

"Okay, class is starting. Take your seats now. I'll call your name, and you raise your hand when you hear it."

Names were called out one by one.

Jang Yunjin (ENTP) – A confident-looking girl with sharp eyes raised her hand.

Kang Jiheon (INFJ) – Jiheon raised his hand quietly, keeping his head slightly down.

Park Taeyung (ESTP) – A laid-back boy who seemed to carry an air of charisma around him.

Shin Hyunjae (ENFP) – Hyunjae raised his hand with a grin, clearly enjoying the attention.

After finishing the roll call, the teacher gave a final announcement.

"Our class will officially start next week, so take this time to explore, make friends, and familiarize yourselves with the school. Class dismissed!"

As soon as the teacher left, the classroom erupted into chaos. Students eagerly introduced themselves to each other, forming groups and exchanging contact information.

Hyunjae turned to Jiheon with his usual bright energy.

"Jiheon, wanna walk around the school with me?"

Jiheon gave a small nod, already used to Hyunjae taking the lead.

Just as they were about to leave, two unfamiliar figures approached them.

Unexpected Encounters

A girl with sharp features and a confident smile was the first to speak.

"Hey, nice to meet you! I'm Jang Yunjin. Mind if I tag along?" she asked, her voice carrying a playful yet assertive tone.

Hyunjae looked unimpressed. He wasn't against making new friends, but something about Yunjin's energy made him hesitant. Jiheon, on the other hand, didn't seem to mind, simply blinking at her without much reaction.

Before either of them could respond, another voice chimed in.

"Yo, I'm Park Taeyung. Mind if I join you guys? You seem chill," the boy said casually. He had an easy-going charm and a relaxed posture, clearly comfortable in any setting.

Jiheon glanced at Hyunjae, waiting for his response. Hyunjae sighed but shrugged.

"Fine, but if you're annoying, I'm ditching you," he said, though there wasn't much hostility in his tone.

Yunjin smirked. "Fair enough."

And just like that, an unlikely group of four was formed.

As they walked out of the classroom together, none of them realized that this small decision—this simple act of letting others in—would lead to an unforgettable high school experience, filled with secrets, chaos, and the kind of friendships that change lives.

The first day of high school was filled with the usual chaos—students scrambling to find their classrooms, teachers struggling to maintain order, and clubs desperately recruiting new members. Kang Jiheon didn't particularly care about the social aspects of school, but Shin Hyunjae, his overly persistent best friend, had already dragged him into an unexpected group of friends.

The Club Search Disaster

A week later, the school officially started, and along with it came the pressure to join a club. It was a requirement for all students, and the school encouraged everyone to participate in extracurricular activities.

Hyunjae, being the most proactive of the group, took charge.

"Alright! We need to find a club that fits all of us. Let's check out what they have."

Their first stop was the Music Club. Taeyung, who had a history of idol training, showed some interest, but when they asked if they could play any instruments, only Jiheon hesitated before muttering, "Piano… a little."

"Damn. I only know how to play music from my phone," Hyunjae joked.

With no serious musicians among them, they moved on.

Next was the Debate Club. Yunjin, with her sharp tongue and love for arguments, found it amusing, but when she saw the overly strict structure and rules, she sighed. "I like debating, not reading from a script. Next."

They checked out the Martial Arts Club, but Taeyung was the only one remotely interested, and even he shrugged. "I'm more of a street-fighter type."

The Art Club? Jiheon and Yunjin could draw, but neither of them wanted to turn it into a commitment.

The Drama Club? Absolutely not.

After an hour of searching and rejecting every club, they gathered near the rooftop, exhausted.

Hyunjae let out a dramatic sigh and flopped onto a bench. "This school has nothing for us."

Taeyung smirked. "Or maybe we're just too picky."

Jiheon, who had been silent for most of the search, finally spoke. "Then… what now?"

A Crazy Idea is Born

Hyunjae suddenly sat up, eyes gleaming with excitement. "Let's make our own club!"

Jiheon stared at him. "That's… a lot of work."

Yunjin raised an eyebrow. "I like it. But what would the club even be about?"

Hyunjae shrugged. "Who cares? As long as we get approved, we can do whatever we want."

Taeyung laughed. "So, basically, a club with no purpose?"

Hyunjae grinned. "Exactly."

And just like that, an idea was born—a club with no clear direction, no strict rules, just a space for them to exist together.

What they didn't realize was that this club would soon become something far bigger than they ever expected.
