Project Jellyfish? Strange recruitment

The woman stepping forth stepped with an air of confidence that made any who sees her like she owned the place or something.

Standing around 5'8 or at least Daniel calculation as he portrayed her figure in his mind using his seismic senses, noticed the slender athletic build. His abilities fully unlocked as this was quite a noisy place with a lot of people so he had full access to the lingering frequency and stray vibrations in the air.

Her raven hair cascades down her back like a waterfall of the night, embracing her heart shaped face and piercing emerald eyes. Her features chiseled with high cheekbones and a small nose like that of a gorgeous national level model.

She wore simple fitted black dress that accentuate her curves, complete with a silver necklace bearing a small crystal pendant... Something quite expensive due to the high frequency it emits. Her presence excludes confidence, intelligence, and a hint of mystery, drawing attention from the surrounding men as a magnet.

'One, two, three... Six.' Daniel silently noted the six suited men disposed nearby in a subtle manner as undercover security.

As soon as she stepped foot in the club, Daniel had already picked her out... The strange pressure she gave off, her rosy scent obviously stood out too but it was her pressure that stood out most.

As she reached him, the music and chatter seemed to fade into the background, only the giggles of the ladies and Daniel's snarky jokes could be heard.

Her voice husky and mysterious, she interups suddenly, "Mr Blind-spot, we've been searching for someone with your peculiar talents." She spoke drawing the attention of both females and an unbothered Daniel.

"And I must say, your reputation precedes you." She spoke, gesturing towards the two women beside him. Without warning, two well suited and armed guys stepped forward, surprising the girls who took this as their cue to leave, abandoning Daniel who sighed at the unwelcome intruder.

"You just had to do that...." He muttered, irritated at the smug tone of her voice. She takes her seat in front of him with grace and a sway of seduction, but my boy Daniel remained unbothered.

"Are you gonna sit there and act charming or get to the point already?" Daniel suddenly spoke, breaking the lingering silence between them.

Her enigmatic smile widens, her eyes glinting with amusement.

"Oh, I love a man who gets straight to the point. Very well Mr Blind-spot, let's dispense with the pleasantries." She gestured to one of the guards who stepped forward and hands her a small sleek device and a brown folder.

"My name is Cassandra Patel and I represent an organization that's been watching you. We believe your skills would be... valuable to us." She said as she slipped the document across the table then clicked the device in her hand and a holographic display flickers to life, showcasing a cryptic message:

"Project: Jellyfish

Initiation: Imminent"

Her gaze locks onto Daniel, her eyes burning with intensity.

'Project Jellyfish? The hell wrong with these people?' Daniel muttered inwardly upon the name.

"Are you interested in learning more?" Cassandra slowly confirms, staring at daniel for any sign or show of shock or emotion whatsoever.

'Yes, who named the damn project!' Daniel inwardly confronted his thoughts in confusion.

"I believe you are aware of my..." He gestured to the blindfold with a smirk, believing Cassandra had just displayed nothing to him.

Cassandra only smiled, her eyes flashed with an expression of surprise as she leans forward, examining the blindfold before responding in a conspiratorial tone. "Ah, yes, the infamous blindfold. We're well aware of your... unique condition and style Mr Blind-spot." She paused, once again studying him intently , "Infact, we believe your other senses have become so acute that they've transcended the need for sight." She analyzed before retreating back in her seat.

She waves her hand and the holographic display flickers again, this time projecting a complex pattern of sound waves and electromagnetic pulses.

"You see, Mr Blind-spot, we've been monitoring your activities. We know all about your heightened senses, you ability to navigate through echolocation, sound waves, vibrations and sheer instinct... Term you refer as 'Seismic senses'." She analyzed, making Daniel's brow raised in admiration for the study this organization did on him.

'That's a brownie point.'

"So I ask again: are you interested in learning more about the Project Jellyfish?"

"Sounds like a bother." Daniel quips as he had fully assessed the information. It was just about some shit about them not agreeing to align with the faction of the neutral ground being governed by a superpowered. So they would likely want to break them... But how do they plan to break a faction, a country that's more powerful than a mere organization? Now that is what he's interested... Plus the name of the project takes all excitement away... Who the hell names a serious, life-threatening, society downfall, world war erupting project; JELLYFISH?

Cassandra's smile falters for a moment, her eyes narrowing slightly. She seems taken aback by Daniel's nonchalant attitude. This wasn't how it should go down.

Not backing down, she pressed forward.

"A man who doesn't mince words. I like that." She leans back in her chair, locking her fingers together, she continued, "Very well, Mr Blind-spot, I'll cut to the chase. Project: Jellyfish is an... opportunity. One that requires your skill set." She paused, studying him intently.

"You see, we acquired a certain... package. One that contains information that could change the balance of power in this city. And we need someone with your particular talents to help us... retrieve it." Her eyes gleamed with a sense of cunning and intrigue, as if daring him to take the bait.

"So... Are you interested? Mr Carter?" She asks, saying his name for the first time in this entire conversation. Hinting that the homework they did on him was rather tedious. Meaning his weakness, his strength, his details... Everything was known by them.

But at this point Daniel wasn't bothered by the hidden threat as he had nothing to lose. Rather, he was concerned about that lone word she had spoken.

"Unbalance you say?" His brows raised in question.
