"Agreed!" everyone in the conference room responded in unison.

They understood well—new times called for new leaders.

"Also..." Fugaku's tone turned serious as he stood up. "Lord Yuta, a clan cannot be without a leader for a day. Nor can a village go on without a Hokage. It's time we elect a new Fifth Hokage."

"Indeed..." Hiashi Hyuga immediately echoed, "I nominate Uchiha Yuta for the position."

"I second that!"

"No one but Lord Yuta is worthy of being Hokage now!"

"I agree!"

But after seeing what Konoha had become under Uchiha Yuta's lead—strong, fair, unyielding—she felt her anger fade.

Perhaps... the Uchiha were right all along.

Because if they hadn't resisted...
