At a corner of the room, the mystical weapon mysteriously called 'the key' sat on a stool.
" Oh good Lord , I knew it" he walked over, tried to lift it but it didn't budge.
Wait... Julian just said 'Good Lord'. Not Julian, Joel, he must have attended a church while on earth. That's a talk for another day. I joined him, hoping I'll be able to do what his muscles could not. It was a magnificent and sword- like. Touching the ornate cross-guard that spread out like a leaf, with a jewel embedded in the center, I felt chills in my veins. I ran my fingers across the runes filling the blade's fuller. I had no thoughts about what the symbols meant, but felt my finger tingle as I traced their lines. The balance of the weapon was impeccable. The metal of the carved guard, and leather-bound hilt, balanced the thick, heavy blade efficiently. Nervously, I picked it up and lifted it above my head. I never thought it would be this light. Julian looked totally shock. This means more to me than anyone and he knows that. He has the right to be surprised anyway.
"Oh my God, you're really the chosen one. I knew it from the start"
Again?! What's it with Joel today? I winced. "Keep your comments. We need to get out of here. You go back to war, I'm taking her to the sacred house."
I held my sister and walked out, the key in one hand. When I got to the entrance, Rose was no where to be found.
"Oh my goodness Rose." I gasped.
" you sure you don't need my help?" Julian smirked. "youre always having problems with your horse. She must have been chased by a beast or something."
" Beasts? Are there beasts here?"
"Oh, you don't know all afterall. I don't bring my horse here."
I cursed continuously beneath my breathe.
" by the way, you can get to the sacred house in broad daylight, with that key and their prisoner."
I was thinking too fast.
" the secret entrance, show me. I need to get to my chamber this minute."
" I'll show you." he grinned. "for her sake." he gestured to ' my sister'.
His voice had that 'never underestimate me' effect. He led us through a tunnel which led to the back of the castle and we were in my chamber in no time. I laid her on the bed and prepare some concortions for her strength. Thanks to Sylvia, I can do all these things without stress.
" o never knew you had a twin Katrienair" Julian said.
" I also." I said as I placed them gently in her mouth and watched her swallow.
«Thank you» she sent to me. I was flustered. So dreams really come true. I mean dreams like that. Who would have to thought.
«we are not strangers, are we.» she sent to me. « or so I need to introduce myself to you my lost sister»
Tears dropped from her tender eyes.
We're not strangers, yes. She's always lived in my dreams.
"id better get going. Do take care. " Julian said as he left.
«im glad I found you sister» I sent back, wiped her tears with the back of my hand.
"im Alistair, glad to finally see you Katrienair. " she stroked my hair. Her voice...my heart shrank. I cried— could not help it.
"im proud of you Katrienair. " She seemed to have all the energy in the world through her voice. "youre strong, a survivor ever since you were born." she embraced me and patted my back. " Though I only knew you as a baby. I've watched you grow, helplessly wishing to be there. I've never been a good sister to you Katrienair. I never had the chance but I promise to always be there now that I'm back."
She pulled away and kissed my cheek. " you need to go now. I'll be fine. You're needed somewhere else."
"no , I'll be here till the war is over. I have everything sorted out..."
" Go baby sis. I'm very fine and safe. Someone else needs you more than I do. You can't afford..." she trailed off." unforeseen..."
Then I remembered, Emiliar!
" Yeah, yeah, I remember. " I picked up my sling bag. " I'd better get going. See you soon."

Emiliar charged into the thick of soldiers packed shoulder to shoulder, swinging her war hammer and blocking it sideways to block blows, using every ounce of skills, every ounce of training she has ever received. Representing Katrienair in a war is the most exhausting she had ever done. She was practically fighting ten men at once, like everyone there wanted to fight the Almighty army head. She was extremely exhausted but would not give up. Giving up isn't a wise decision anyway cause that would be put everyone in trouble. She fought with all she had, swinging, wheeling, leaping, kicking, elbowing, even head butting. She received many blows, punches, shield smashing against shield, swords slashing and bouncing off her armour. The demons are just too much, it all seemed like the war was never going to end. Aside Raleigh's betrayal, the northern province also had soldiers who could fight so they were ever ready. She was leading Katrienair's teams to the castle to claim the throne but of course, they had soldiers who were ready to fight till their last breathe to protect their own part of the territory. Luna was helpful, her fangs, her teeth, she's simply doing most of the 'prek-killing' for Emiliar. She seemed unstoppable, like her master. Even the soldiers spent more time attacking her than attacking the demons. It looked like she's been in wars all her life and Emiliar who is just having her first war experience could not help but feel less
Emiliar slowy began to lose stamina. Simply put, she was too exhausted to fight tide the tide of men and about to lose ground.
She prayed: Lord, please help finish this fight. I'm willing to die this day. But Lord, I can die without bloodshed. Keep that away and protect Katrienair.
Just the an attacked stabbed her in her stomach. She collapsed to her knees in agony. She took a last glance at her attacker.
" Katrienair, I tried but ... I'm sorry!" She cried.
There came a shout and Kabal rushed forward and stabbed Emiliar attacker I'm the heart, killing him and sparing her from further injury.
Emiliar felt hot blood pouring out and already felt life ebbing out of her.
" Sire!" Kabal cried out in concern. Emiliar just stared at him, grateful that he was shielding her from being detected but also scared. She's going to die anyway. But then she felt a hand on her wound. She was too weak to say anything but she knew who it was—Katrienair.

It took me a lot of time to finally reach Emiliar and when I saw her, she was severly wounded— already looking dead. Kabal was kneeling over her in concern and the others just didn't care. The must have thought I was the one. I placed my hands on her wounded to get rid of the blood first. It took a great punce of energy from me.
« I'm sorry» she sent to me.
« You tried. Just Shut up! »i sent back and she did shit up, first time. Kabal watched us in shock but I was rest assured he wasn't going to spill a word.
« Time to go» I sent to her when her wound were closed up. I placed my hands on the veins of her neck and she disappeared.
" Watch out!" I screamed to Kabal as a northern soldier aimed at him. He was swift, he kicked him in his groin and slit his throat. War continued and all seemed like Emiliar's drama never happened. Some people might have seen her but I know they didn't pay much attention.
