Chapter One: Demonic Catastrophe

In a Remote Area

In a small village near the Saiz River, the sun was shining brightly and the heat was intense. The sound of crickets chirping echoed in the surroundings.

Ren and his friends were on a fishing trip. Ren, a young man with black hair that reached his neck and eyes as dark as black holes, wore a medieval-style black robe. Next to him stood his younger brother Leon, with short blonde hair and soft, gentle features.

"Ren, how many did you catch?" Leon asked eagerly.

Ren replied proudly, "I caught four. How about you?"

Leon sighed, "I only caught three..."

Ren laughed mockingly, "Heh, looks like you lost again! Just give up, you can't beat me!"

Competition sparked in Leon's eyes, and he responded angrily, "I'll beat you next time!"

"Heh! I'd love to see that in your dreams!"

As they were about to clash, Mona stepped in between them, her beautiful face showing clear signs of anger. Her long brown hair fluttered in the wind, and her expression clearly showed disapproval.

"Hey! Stop it! Why do you always start this silly fight whenever we go fishing?!" she scolded.

Ren and Leon lowered their heads and responded together, apologetically, "We're sorry..."

Mona's brother, Yun, laughed and said with a reassuring smile, "Don't be too hard on them, Mona."

Yun, a young man with a muscular body and strong presence, exuded power and respect.

"But they start this argument every time we go fishing! I had to step in and stop them!" Mona said with frustration.

Yun shook his head and smiled broadly, showing his white teeth. "It's fine, they're still young, it's normal for them to challenge each other."

After a moment, Yun suggested, "Anyway, let's light a fire and grill the fish."

Ren, curious, jumped to ask, "Brother Yun, how many fish did you catch?"

Yun laughed arrogantly, "I caught ten fish!"

Ren and Leon's eyes widened in surprise, disappointment evident on their faces.

"Ten?! Ah... looks like we have a long way to go to beat you..."

Yun blushed slightly, feeling a little embarrassed, and said with a smile, "Heh, I don't know what to say!"

Ren and Leon considered Yun as an older brother, and they had been used to spending time together since childhood, always going on fishing trips filled with challenges and competition.

"Alright, the fire is ready. Let's start cooking the fish," Yun said as they all sat around the fire, leaning against the tree trunks.

Mona tasted the fish and nodded in satisfaction. "Mmm... delicious!"

Ren and Leon sat next to each other. Leon grabbed a stick with a grilled fish on it and said excitedly, "Next time, I'll definitely beat you!"

Ren smiled sarcastically, "In your dreams! We'll see about that!"

The argument between them escalated, and they were almost about to fight again when their younger sister, Lina, who had been tasked with gathering firewood for the fire, interrupted them.

"Are you two going to start again?!" she said with an annoyed expression.

They both responded in unison, "We're sorry..."

As evening approached, Yun said, "It's getting late, let's head back to the village."

At that moment, Elias Hayes, Ren and Leon's father, appeared.

"Oh, you're here. Sorry, looks like we're really late," Yun said with a chuckle.

Yun laughed again. "Heh, no need to apologize. Were they good?"

Mona quickly jumped in to answer, "They're fighting every time!"

Elias nodded apologetically, saying, "Looks like they've tired you out... what an unfortunate father I am!" Yun reassured him, "Don't say that, we're friends."

Elias looked sternly at Ren and Leon, anger flashing in his eyes, making them stand upright, nervous. Ren resembled his father a lot, inheriting his black hair and deep eyes.

Elias said firmly, "Come on, let's head back to the village. Your mother's worried about you."

Yun nodded and said, "Alright, I'll put out the fire. We'll catch up with you soon."

Elias, turning to leave, said, "Anyway, I'm heading back now, always with village matters to attend to. Alright, hurry up."

Yun looked at his friends and asked, "Is everything ready?"

Ren suddenly responded, "Wait! I forgot my bag in the forest! You all go ahead, I'll look for it and catch up with you later."

Yun tried to stop him, but he knew Ren was stubborn by nature. Mona intervened, reassuring him, "Don't worry, I'll get it for you. You all can go on."

Yun nodded and said to the others, "Alright, let's go. They'll catch up with us when they're done."

And so, everyone started heading back to the village, while Ren and Mona went into the forest to retrieve his bag.

Ren ran through the trees, while Mona followed, panting, "Why are you running like this? I'm tired!"

Ren stopped and turned to her, "I'm sorry. Do you remember where you last left it?"

"I think you dropped it between those thick bushes..."

They searched for a while until they found it.

"Here it is!" Mona said joyfully.

"Alright, let's hurry back."

But before they could move, a sudden explosion sounded, followed by a terrifying wolf's howl.

The trees shook, and crows scattered in a panic from the branches.

Mona gasped in fear, "Ren, did you hear that?"

Ren raised his hand to signal her to be silent, and whispered, "Shh... I heard it. Stay here, I'll go see what's happening."

"Will you be alright?"

"Don't worry, just stay here."

He moved cautiously, his heartbeat quickening. Suddenly, strange words reached his ears:

"It's coming... It's coming... It seems fate has chosen you..."

He froze, saying in shock, "Who... Who's speaking?!"

There was no one around.

He continued moving forward until he saw the body of a wolf the size of an elephant, surrounded by blue lightning sparks, with sword-like teeth and massive claws.

As he approached... he felt an invisible force pulling him into nothingness.

---

Transition to the Unknown

In the blink of an eye, Ren found himself being pulled into an unknown place. He was standing inside a long corridor illuminated by a green flame emerging from the mouths of small dragon heads carved on the black walls, with ancient golden symbols giving off an aura of mystery.

He proceeded until he reached a large hall, where an old man with a long white beard sat, leaning on a staff shaped like a snake, sitting on a golden chair decorated with ancient green jade-like symbols.

The old man spoke in a calm voice, "Ah... you've arrived. It seems fate has played its part."

Ren took a step back. "Who are you? What's going on? Where am I?!"

The old man responded mysteriously, "It doesn't matter where you are now, nor what this place is, or who I am."

The old man moved his staff toward Ren and said, "I'll ask you... will you live in peace, or will the world live in peace?"

Ren responded in confusion, "What kind of question is that? What are you aiming at, old man?"

The old man said sharply, "Answer me."

Ren replied firmly, "I want the world to live in peace, but if it requires sacrificing my happiness and peace, I don't care about this world as long as I live in peace! I would burn the entire world if necessary!"

The old man laughed maniacally, "Hahahahahaha, an interesting answer..."

Then he asked the second question, "If it required you to save the world in exchange for the lives of those you care about, what would you choose? The world... or your loved ones?"

Ren replied without hesitation, "If I had to burn the world to save those I care about, I'd do it without a second thought!"

The third question: "Do you want power? Yes or no?"

Ren said firmly, "Of course I want power! Who would refuse to be strong?!"

The old man's laughter grew louder, "You're already a special person..."

Ren raised an eyebrow sarcastically, "Are you talking about me?! Me?! What are you talking about?!"

The old man chuckled softly, "You want power? You will get it, but there will always be a heavy price."

A strange mist surrounded the old man, as if he were dissolving into the air. His body slowly faded away until he completely vanished, as if he had evaporated.

Ren tried to leap forward to grab him, but his hand passed through the empty air, and there was no trace of the old man. Suddenly, the sound of something heavy falling to the ground echoed, along with an ancient book beside it, as if they had appeared from nothing.

A strange sword, with a violent aura, was also embedded in the earth.

---

The Blood Gate

As soon as Ren touched the sword, when he regained consciousness, there was no time to think about what had happened. He found Mona crying beside him, "Ren! Are you okay?!"

He opened his eyes with difficulty, "Mona? What's going on...?"

She pointed to the sky and whispered, "Look..."

Ren raised his head, and his eyes widened in horror.

The sky had turned crimson, and the moon had turned the color of blood.

Mona whispered in panic, "Ren... what's happening?!"

Ren stood up quickly, "We need to hurry! Everyone in..."

---

Ren quickly stood up: "We must hurry! Everyone is in danger!"

Mona asked in worry, "But... who is coming?"

Ren answered in a trembling voice: "The Demonic Beast Catastrophe."

Suddenly, the sound of a devastating thunderstrike shook the ground, as if it were the scream of the apocalypse. Suddenly, a gigantic time portal, as large as the entire sky, opened up, like a tear in the fabric of reality. From within it, a wolf the size of a mountain emerged, as if coming from the depths of hell, surrounded by glowing lightning strikes everywhere. It wasn't alone, as it was followed by massive wolves the size of elephants, pouring out of the portal in countless numbers, as if a hellish flood was sweeping across the world.

The giant wolf remained standing in place, as if it were the king of this destruction, while the other wolves rushed across the land, spreading havoc in every direction. Upon witnessing this terrifying scene, Ren whispered in a trembling voice:

"Lightning Catastrophe Wolf..."

---

The Massacre of Ron Village

In Ron Village, the villagers stared desperately at the sky.

One of them whispered, "Is this the end of the world...? We're all finished..."

Panic spread quickly, and with the arrival of the electric wolves' armies, a bloody and merciless massacre began.

The villagers desperately tried to protect their children, and one of the leaders shouted in a trembling voice, "Hide in the cave!"

Elias Hayes, Ren's father and the village leader, stood at the front lines, overseeing the protection of the children. Beside him was Yun Do, a strong-built man, helping him fend off the attack.

Elena Hayes, Ren's mother, looked on with great concern, her beautiful eyes shining with distress, and her pale, snow-white skin glowing under the eerie light of the lightning. Her silken blonde hair fluttered behind her, making her appear like a celestial being amid this hell. It seemed that Leon had inherited some of her features.

"Will they be okay?" Elena whispered anxiously.

Elias placed his hand gently on her shoulder and reassured her with a sad smile, "Don't worry, everything will be fine."

But Leon interrupted them seriously as he looked toward the horizon: "Mom, Dad, get inside quickly, the wolves are coming!"

Both Leon and Lena had already arrived at the village, only to witness the tragedy with their own eyes.

Elena tried to hide her concern, saying in a comforting voice, "Don't worry, we'll be fine."

But suddenly, before she could finish her sentence, the wolves arrived much faster than expected.

Elias shouted as he waved his hand: "Elena! Yun! Close the stone door now!"

Without hesitation, Elena pushed both Leon and Lena into the cave, then closed the massive stone door behind them, preventing them from witnessing the massacre that had just begun outside.

Inside the cave, Lena sat on the ground, clutching her knees, her trembling eyes staring at the closed door. She whispered sorrowfully, "Will they be okay?"

Lena had inherited many features of her mother, her fair skin and silky blonde hair, but she also possessed some of her father's traits— a long nose bridge and thick eyebrows. She was simply breathtakingly beautiful.

Leon gently patted her head and said, "Don't worry, everything will be fine."

But deep inside, his heart told him that things would not be okay.

The massacre

A wolf lunged at her with its sharp fangs and tore her apart.

The child stood frozen in horror, staring at the wolf as it slowly approached. But he felt nothing...

Before he could comprehend what had happened, his head was severed and flew into the air, his eyes wide open, staring into the eternal void.

That child was Mona Fos's younger brother.

Yun screamed madly, holding a wooden spear, rushing to save his family, but tears filled his face.

He had just seen the massacre... his family's bodies scattered before him.

He fell to his knees, his eyes wide open as if unable to believe what had just happened.

But before he could take a single breath...

His head flew into the air.

His head fell to the ground, and everything ended.

---

Fate— the end of hope for survival.

Some had given up on life, accepting death as they were torn apart.

Others fought desperately, but it ended in devastation.

No one survived.

The smell of blood was the only thing that spoke.

---

Elias and Elena's Sacrifice

Elias looked at his wife despairingly, as if he no longer expected anything but death.

He said in a hoarse voice:

"Elena... run, I'll distract them for a while!"

But she refused, her eyes gleaming with determination:

"Impossible! If we're going to die, we'll die together!"

Elias smiled sadly:

"Run... please."

But she didn't move, not even considering fleeing. They stared at each other in silence...

Then, after a moment, they embraced each other tightly, as if trying to immortalize this final moment.

Elias said in a gentle and calm voice:

"I love you."

Elena smiled, her eyes filled with tears:

"I love you too."

At that moment, they regretted nothing.

Then—

A giant wolf pounced on them, swiping with its claws!

And tore them apart compl

etely.

When Ren arrived at the village, his body froze in terror, unable to move, helplessly watching the devastation unfold.
