Book Two: The Astral Requiem

Chapter 1: Echoes of the Forgotten Realm

The universe had been reborn.

Orion stood at the edge of a new cosmos, the remnants of the Astral Paradox still flickering in his mind. He had shattered the cycle, rewritten the fate of existence itself. And yet, something lingered—an echo of a force he had not anticipated.

A whisper called to him from the void.

"You think the story is over?" the voice taunted. "You have only begun to see the truth."

Lyra and Seraphina exchanged glances, their relief from victory fading into unease. The Veiled Queen, now unshackled from her duty, watched the forming stars with an expression of dread.

"Orion," she said softly. "We may have ended one paradox… but we may have created another."

Before he could respond, the universe trembled. A fracture split across the sky, revealing a tear in reality itself. From within, an entity emerged—a figure cloaked in shifting light and shadow, neither mortal nor divine.

The Forgotten One.

"You stole what was mine," the being spoke, its voice ancient and wrathful. "The paradox was my prison… and you destroyed it. Now, I am free."

Orion's grip tightened on his celestial blade. "Who are you?"

The Forgotten One's form shimmered, revealing glimpses of countless faces—some familiar, some lost to time. "I am the remnant of those cast aside by history, the voices unheard. And now, I shall reclaim what was stolen."

Reality bent around them as the battle for the new universe began.
