Dragon Ball: Kaizen – Chapter 8 "The Return of the King – Goku Enters the Battle!"

The battlefield was in ruins.

Vegeta's Ultra Ego aura flickered, his body struggling to keep up with the relentless assault from Kaizen. Even with his Saiyan pride, the weight of Kaizen's godly mark was proving to be an overwhelming force.

Kaizen stood over him, his crimson eyes glowing, his power warping reality itself.

"Stay down, Vegeta." His voice was cold. "You've lost."

Vegeta growled, forcing himself back onto his feet. "I don't… lose." His grin remained, but his body was breaking down.

Then—

A sudden pressure filled the air.

Kaizen's expression shifted slightly.

Something was coming.

The wind stilled. The planet held its breath. Even the stars above seemed to tremble.

And then—

A pillar of white-hot energy shot down from the heavens.

FWOOOOOM!

The entire battlefield exploded in light as a figure descended from the sky.

Vegeta's eyes widened slightly.

Kaizen narrowed his gaze. "Hmph… So you finally decided to show yourself."

The dust settled.

And there he stood.

Son Goku.

Clad in his orange gi, battle-worn yet calm, his silver hair flowed gently, his eyes burning with the power of True Ultra Instinct.

He exhaled slowly, then looked up at Kaizen.

"Yo."

Vegeta smirked. "Took you long enough, Kakarot."

Kaizen tilted his head slightly, then smirked. "Interesting… You're different from before."

Goku rolled his shoulders, cracking his neck.

"Yeah. I've been training."

His aura surged, a divine radiance surrounding him. But unlike before, there was something… calm. Controlled.

Kaizen's eyes sharpened. "Show me."

Goku smirked. "Alright."

And in an instant—

He vanished.

Kaizen barely had time to react before—

BOOM!

A blinding impact.

Goku's fist had already buried itself into Kaizen's stomach.

The ground shattered. Kaizen's body bent forward, his pupils shrinking in shock.

Goku, still calm, whispered.

"My turn."
