CHAPTER 3 – THE ENCOUNTER THAT CHANGED EVERYTHING

After that voice disappeared from my head completely, I looked at my new Omnitrix and took a close look at its appearance. Its appearance was easy to describe, as it was the Omnitrix that Ben used in Ben 10 Alien Force, an Omnitrix that shows you the hologram of the alien you want to transform into.

I was excited, ecstatic to have the Omnitrix itself entirely at my disposal. There were so many possibilities with this watch on my wrist! Just thinking about the future made my hair stand on end. I'm already imagining it, me with dozens of women attending to my every need and living the life of a king, literally, because if Lala accepts my proposal of "accidental" marriage, I'll be the future king of the galaxy, Gid's heir. I will be hailed by many and envied by others who will surely want to kill me. In the original story many people try to kill Rite, but I was always surprised by something. In the anime and manga, I don't remember at what time, it is mentioned that Lala had hundreds of suitors, some of them very influential and powerful nobles. However, we could only see a few cases where Rito was targeted for assassination. Why didn't those hundreds of nobles take more drastic measures to kill Rito? The answer was clear: Because it was a manga with comedy, Romance, Harem and Ecchi and not a seinen in which the protagonist must fight at every moment.

"But now I'm in real life. If I get involved in the story... wouldn't I be turning hundreds of powerful nobles into my enemies? And maybe, since this is real life and not a fictional story, dozens of murderers will come after me and not only Yami" – I said somewhat thoughtfully.

Normally, no one would risk getting involved in this considering the danger it poses, but... I'm an adventurer by nature and I'm not afraid to face those nobles, especially having the Omnitrix with me. In the Omnitrix there are millions of aliens with different powers that could surely finish off those nobles easily, so I don't have to be afraid of them, just be careful and avoid being reckless.

"Nor should I be overconfident. Having the Omnitrix definitely gives me an absolute advantage in this dimension, but if I am overconfident I could end up dead, so I have to be careful" – I said.

If I am very overconfident, I might end up being killed or something. Also, now I'm not in a position to face anyone because I don't even know how to use the Omnitrix correctly.

"For the moment let's check the interface of the Omnitrix and see how many aliens I have at my disposal at the moment" – I said.

Then, I fixed my gaze on the Omnitrix and remembered the words that voice said to me about how to open my status window.

"Open status window!" – I said.

Immediately, the Omnitrix emitted a green light and a holographic screen was placed in front of me:

The interface was that simple, it had nothing out of the ordinary.

"A simple interface. Let's see what aliens I have now" – I said.

I then clicked as the interface told me and this is what was displayed.

"Mmm, classic aliens and only 5. I'm really starting from the bottom..." – I sighed.

Although looking at it from another point of view, they were not bad. I had strength, speed, fire, crystal control, and pretty good hunting capabilities. It's well balanced.

"I won't complain. They're pretty good to start with and they're pretty balanced. Also, I'll unlock more over time, so there's no need to be rushed" - I said.

Then, I clicked on Four Arms to see his description and check the last option that this simple system gave me:

2 . Improved Resistance: His skin is tough and resistant to impacts, allowing his to withstand intense physical attacks.

3. Great agility for his size: Despite his bulk, he can move quickly and make impressive jumps.

4 . Seismic Strikes: Can generate shockwaves by hitting the ground hard, destabilizing his enemies.

5. Improved Combat Capability: His four arms give him an advantage in close combat, allowing him to attack and defend simultaneously.

Weaknesses:

❌Lack of Speed: Although strong, Four Arms is not the fastest alien and can be outmaneuvered by agile enemies.

❌ Poor Flexibility: His large size and body structure can make it difficult for it to fight in tight places or move with agility.

❌ Melee Dependence: Although powerful, his combat style is mostly physical, so he can have trouble against enemies with ranged attacks or special powers.

"Mmm, not bad. This description is quite detailed and will help me better understand the powers of the alien I can transform. Then, I can have a better understanding of their abilities, as well as their strengths and weaknesses" – I said with a satisfied tone.

The truth is that this interface is quite informative. Thanks to it, I will be able to understand the strengths and weaknesses of each alien, being able to access another if a situation arises in which this alien would not be suitable. For example, as the interface said, Four Arms has a combat style focused on physical and close combat, so if I if someone attack me from the distance I would be at a distinct disadvantage. Thanks to this, I will be able to change aliens when a situation like this become more dangerous.

"Close Interface" – I said.

Immediately the interface disappeared without a trace.

"I would like to continue looking and investigating, but first I have to check the time" – I said.

But I realized something, I didn't have a watch.

"Hmm, I don't have a wristwatch, but the Omnitrix has a camouflage function, so that should be enough" – I said.

Then, I fixed my gaze on the Omnitrix again.

"Camouflage" – I said.

Instantly, the Omnitrix transformed into a digital wristwatch that you could buy in a store for $20 or so. No one would suspect that this watch was a weapon capable of transforming his user into other aliens at will.

"It's almost the time" – I said.

The clock read 18:30 pm.

"There is half an hour left for Lala's appearance. I'd better get ready now" - I said.

There was still half an hour left, but I had to fill the bathtub and it would take at least 10 minutes to do that, so I'd better leave everything ready.

"Also, if I remember correctly, in the original story, the roof of the bathroom was completely destroyed, but then fixed, so I won't worry about that" – I said looking at the ceiling.

I will certainly be surprised and nervous (I'm already nervous), after all experiencing it yourself in the first person is different from reading it in a manga or seeing it in an anime.

That said, I did a little time in my room and 10 minutes later, I started filling the tub.

By 18:50 p.m. the bathtub was already full. Also, since I knew what was going to happen, I prepared a towel next to the bathtub so I could grab it when I needed to rescue Lala from her own bodyguards. I hope I don't have to act too many times, I sincerely wish the story wasn't the same as the original, otherwise, it would be very boring. Although something tells me that it won't be, after all, if that God told me the truth and granted my wish, definitely the story won't follow the original course or otherwise it would be boring and that definitely wouldn't be part of my wish. I prefer adventures and not something predictable.

Having said that and with everything ready, I got into the bathtub and waited for 19:00 p.m., at which point everything would change.
