Chapter 3: Meal Time and a Special Moment

Ye Xiuxiu just had a meal and learned to say "Daddy" and "Mommy"! This exciting news quickly spread through the Ye family mansion, becoming a big event.

Ye Qingping, the head of the family, decided to throw a family dinner to celebrate. Even though cultivators can practice fasting after gaining some skills, everyone still enjoys delicious food.

The big banquet hall was filled with laughter and chatter. Everyone was focused on the cute little Ye Xiuxiu, who was being held by Bai Qingxia. She looked around with her big, curious eyes. Even though she was still quite young, she was already showing signs of being smart. With encouragement from Ye Qingping and Bai Qingxia, she began calling out "Uncle" and "Auntie," delighting everyone.

However, after calling so many people, Ye Xiuxiu couldn't remember all their names — there were just too many! But there was one person she remembered: her second mother, Liu Yuesong, who had once tried to harm her. Liu Yuesong was holding a baby the same age as Ye Xiuxiu, and they were curiously staring at each other.

Then, after half a year of being home, Ye Xiuxiu met her second sister, Ye Ruyan, who inherited the family wealth. They exchanged looks, both trying to understand each other better. Ye Ruyan looked down on Ye Xiuxiu, thinking she had wasted twenty years and returned to beg for help from the family.

Ye Xiuxiu thought about defeating Ye Ruyan to prove to their father that she hadn't wasted her time outside. Even though she was much weaker in cultivation compared to her sister, she wanted to show her father that she could achieve something too.

Still, she felt she needed to get the Hongmeng Creation Sutra because it seemed very important. So, she began thinking of a plan, like pretending to play with Ye Ruyan before suddenly attacking her. Despite her parents talking nearby, she was completely focused on her plan.

Ye Ruyan tried to read Ye Xiuxiu's thoughts through her eyes, which was unusual for a one-and-a-half-year-old. Ye Ruyan was actually reborn and remembered how, in her past life, Ye Xiuxiu returned after being away for twenty years. Back then, she thought little of Ye Xiuxiu, but Ye Xiuxiu quickly proved herself by winning their father's affection and rising in cultivation remarkably fast. This surprised Ye Ruyan, as she had expected Ye Xiuxiu to be too late to succeed in cultivation.

"It's time to eat!" Ye Qingping announced, calling everyone to sit down. The two sisters were placed in baby chairs next to their mothers, but instead of delicious food, they received baby food. Ye Xiuxiu, dissatisfied with her bland meal, pointed at the sweet and sour fish on the table, making it clear that she wanted it.

Bai Qingxia gently told her not to eat such food yet. But Ye Qingping smiled, saying if she wanted it, she could try a little. He dipped some fish sauce and fed it to Ye Xiuxiu, who immediately loved it, her eyes lighting up with happiness. Everyone around them laughed at her cute reaction.

After enjoying the sauce, Ye Xiuxiu quickly finished her bowl of baby food. She then looked at her sister, thinking about how to complete her task next.

Ye Qingping noticed that Ye Ruyan still had a lot of baby food left and encouraged her to eat more, saying, "Your sister finished her meal!"

Task Completed: Ye Xiuxiu won the little competition with her sister, although not in a typical way. Her father saw her effort and felt hopeful for her future.

Ye Xiuxiu was confused about how just eating a meal completed her task, but she was happy nonetheless.
