Chapter 5

As soon as Micheal got up the next morning, Jay's eyes snapped open too. One if the perks of being a light sleeper.

He glanced at the table clock besides him, surprised it was still so early. He thought Micheal was supposed to be the CEO so why did he need to get up so early? Or maybe he was just in a hurry to get away from him.

Probably the latter.

He shot his eyes closed quickly, pretending to sleep as Micheal began to undress. He had thought Jay was still sleeping, so he didn't mind taking his clothes off Infront of his 'sleeping' husband.

Jay on the other hand was shamelessly watching Micheal undress with his back to him, taking in every curve, every muscle in his body with his buttom lips between his teeth as Micheal let loose of everything except his briefs. He mentally pouted.

Micheal soon disappeared a few minutes later into the bathroom, and Jay took that time to check if Micheal had accepted his request. He hadn't.

He frowned and continued to read through the comments, not realizing Micheal was out now, and found him not sleeping.

Micheal's brows furrowed. "How long have you been up?" He asked in a deeper voice than Jay was used to, as he had just woken up. The voice made Jay's hair stand on end, and he held back a moan as he looked up to meet the angry man's eyes He also could've have just lied, but teasing was his nature.

He gave a cocky smile. "You're my husband, I should be allowed to watch shouldn't I?"

Micheal frowned tightening the end of the towel around his waist. He walked over the beside still on his side, threw a black card on the bed next to Jay. "Here. Take any of the rooms and furnish it to your taste so you can leave."

Jay grinned at him, stretching to collect the card, which made his duvet fall of him in the process. He was wearing a pair of his regular light pyjamas, but his morning wood- also most likely amplified by Micheal's show this morning was now fully exposed.

"Oops. Sorry." Jay muttered with a large smile, clearly not ashamed that Micheal had found he was turned on by him. The man was sexy, he couldn't be held responsible for his bodies reaction.

He took the card admiring it, the sound of Micheal storming out, piercing through his thoughts.

He grinned. "He's hates me so much."

Micheal was dressed at about 7:00 as he had a meeting at 8 am. And one thing about Micheal, he hated sluggish work. Immediately he stepped out of front door, his driver immediately rushed to pull open the door for him, and just as he settled into the back seat, Mansuella ram out with a small food bag.

"Here sir." She smiled brightly, pushing the flask towards the driver: Mr Evans, before turning to Micheal. '"I know you won't be home till late, so I made your favorite.".

Micheal smiled at her slightly, nudging at Evan to give him the bag before they began to drive off. Micheal had always been a private person, built this house far from his family home- closer to his office for that same reason. He also had no maids, and just four workers- his Gardner Paul, His driver - Evans, and His guard -Sam, who was seated at the front of the car, and the other guard that had come with them to monitor his new husband.

He and his family never really got along, and sometimes he felt like they wished Liam was their real son. They treated him like he was the second option, and he knew how hard he had worked to get the company. That was why he sucked it up and married Jay even though his mother tried to punish him by not telling him before hand about the new arrangements with Nicholas Percy- Jay's father.

But last night when his mother pulled out those 'maids' for Jay to pick ad a helper, Micheal was livid! He needed his mother to stop trying to make decisions for him. He wasn't Liam and could never pretend to go along with everything they told him, but his mother still tried to find ways to push what she wanted down his throat. He hated it!

However, he didn't expect Jay to be that smart and immediately detect what his mother was trying to do. He thought Jay would feel pressured to agree, but he was surprised when Jay went the opposite direction, and that impressed him slightly even though he wasn't willing accept it.

He got to the office- a twenty five story building, which stood out among all the other buildings in that street. And as Mr Evan began to pull into his reserved spot, he prepared himself for the gossips even though they knew they wouldn't dare say anything to his face.

He was right!

It was a new week after a long eventful weekend, and many of his staffs were trying to catch up on what was happening, when he walked in. The whole ground floor suddenly became so quiet, all eyes on their boss, some eyes on his ring which was proving that the news was right.

Micheal Percy, the hottest most desired men in their city had married a man.

He kept a stoic face, his right hand in his pocket as he continued toward the elevator. All the other staff who were also waiting immediately moved aside, leaving only he and his body guard- Sam, inside alone.

Micheal released the breath he was holding as the doors finally closed, mentally counting until they reached the the last floor, where his office was. They stepped out, the white marbled floor which stretched out across the whole 25th floor greeted them. This floor had the fewest rooms, comprising of only his office, a meeting room, and some smaller rooms for his assistant and other staffs that worked closely with him.

His assistant Mr Sinclair

immediately rushed out to take the bag from him with a bow, before leading him accompanying him to his office while reading out his morning schedule to him.

"The meeting this morning had to be moved moved to 10:am Sir", he reported shakily, because he knew Micheal hated scheduled being mixed up.

And as predicted, Micheal stoped and glared at the man who was now shakily still holding the folder in his hand. "Why?"

"T-there was a delay in the shipments sir. The suppliers were begging for one more hour." He explained with his head hung low, even though he knew it wasn't his fault.

Micheal however was still annoyed at the incompetence. The meeting had been set two weeks ago, and they still couldn't gather all the materials they needed in time? He turned to the guy angrily, his veins protruding in anger.

"Tell them if they're not ready in thirty minutes, the deal of off!!."

"Y-yes sir." The guy replied as calmly as he could, before sprinting away with a phone to his ears, trying to reach the suppliers.

Micheal hadn't even had time to recover, when his best friend Silas shot him a small smile from the door of his office. He kissed his teeth seeing Silas waiting for him, and as if reading his mind, the shorter man smiled brightly.

"You didn't even let the poor man tell you I was here before you started yelling at him." He commented about Micheal's interaction with his assistant.

Micheal rolled his eyes, yanking his red tie off his neck ones inside his office."why are you here Silas?" he asked even though he knew the answer.

Silas didn't respond immediately, he just walked towards the door, peeked out to make sure no one was outside before coming back in and yelling

"You married a man????"

Micheal rolled his eyes, and muttered something about how his office was sound proof, and Silas knew that so he didn't need to act so much drama before asking him a question.

"Don't try to change the topic boy!' Silas snapped at Micheal, being the only one who could do that.

The dark haired man who was about 5'6, had been Micheal's best friend for years. They were coursemates in the university, and as soon as he got the chance, he hired Silas to be an architect here in his company. But he regretted soon later, because every morning he would come to the office to find Silas waiting here to annoy him.

Silas was the only one here who wasn't scared of him, or stuttered when they spoke to him, and much as sometimes he annoyed him, he was glad to have a friend in the office who he could sometimes confide in.

"yes." Micheal sighed, rekaxing on his black jet leather chair. "But you already knew that, so just ask directly what you actually want to know."

"Did you guys have sex?"

"Are you mad?" Micheal blurted out, pulling the flask of coffee Mansuella had made for him away from his mouth. "I didn't do- I'm not gay."

"I know" Silas wriggled his brows at Micheal, before sitting on one of the chairs Infront of him. "I just wanted to watch your expression." Silas chuckled lightly. "I thought you were supposed to marry Clara though?"

Micheal's jaws ticked, his fists clenched, the light mood turning stale at his question. "They sent their son instead."

Silas raised a brow. "So that guy is Clara's brother?" He asked, and Michael nodded. "And he knows you wanted his sister not him?"

Micheal shrugged. "We didn't talk much, plus I don't care. I'm planning to divorce him soon anyways." Micheal explained like it was just as easy as ABC.

Silas frowned. "Have you spoken to Clara?"

Micheal looked away angrily. "Of fucking course not! I'm upset about everything, and I didn't really know what say to her. Plus I hadn't even put on my phone since yesterday." He responded, nudging at the phone Infront of them frustratedly.

Silas didn't need to be told twice before he grabbed the phone off the table, putting it on while Micheal just watched in slight irritate at Silas lack of boundaries.

"I'm genuinely confused."

Micheal sighed. "I don't even want to think about it."

Silas nodded in understanding. "And what did you Mother say when she found out?"

"She was fucking excited about it." Micheal responded exasperatedly with his eyes closed, reminiscing about how excited his mother looked when he walked in, and how she'd pulled a very confused Jay into a big hug. "I'm sure she planned the whole thing, she wanted to take revenge."

"I can't put that past her." Silas hummed, watching as all the notifications flooded into Micheal's locked phone as it came on. "Look!" Then he chuckled too loudly, a smug smile plastered on his face as he shoved the phone in Micheal's face. "Your new husband, sent you a follow request."

Micheal eyed him, grabbed the phone from his hand, about to ask him how he knew, only to realize his ''husband' had changed his name to ."Jay Carlton."

Damn man was asking for it.

He muttered a series of curse words under his breath, but before he could delete the notification, Silas shoved his own phone in his face, showing Jay's profile which he had searched up-Jay's profile picture was spread across the screen, with Silas looking proud.

"Is this him?"

Micheal didn't even glance at the picture, the memory of Jay's erection still haunting him slightly." Yes."

"Wow!" Silas smiled zooming in on the picture. It was a selfie of Jay with the phone so close to his face that it only captured his bright grey eyes and the top part of his nose. It was a beachy background, and Jay's blond long hair which was usually packed up, was poured over his face.

He looked extremely cute.

"Look at those grey eyes too…" Silas began to gush over the picture, and something about that made Micheal upset. Whether he loved him or not, it was still his husband, and he felt possessive.

Silas who was still smilling brightly at the picture, turned to him again. "No offense Micheal, but I wouldn't mind being married to a man if he looked this good. Heck I would even hi_"

The sound of Micheal's flask being smashed against the wall next to him, knocked the words out his mouth, making him turn to Micheal in shock.

"Don't fucking talk about my husban like that_"
