Dimension of Fantasy

Vroom! Vroom!

Two sounds of cold start that were surely that of an engine rolling in the background from both the right and left sides.

In the vast expanse of utter darkness, there resides a flashlight, casting light on the floor of nothingness.

As if emerging from the darkness that existed everywhere, yet it was nowhere too. A small shining star that seemed pale at first landed in the spotlight created by an unknown source. The star shined brightly and started to take the shape of a... Human being?!

Silent: "Huh? Am I hearing things?"

A voice was heard... barely struggling to be raised as if something were restraining its own existence. As the star was taking its humanoid figure, the voice gradually became more clear and noticeable with every passing second.

Eventually, the bright light of the shining star vanished into small particles that flew in random directions, revealing the humanoid silhouette... Silent! He was Silent.

"...Shit! Shit! How did you forget about the 'Unforgotten promise' you installed in your mind? Sighs! I'm still pathetic. The old self of mine hasn't completely shattered yet."

Another session of self-flagellation fell on top of Silent, despite the number of hours he had spent just to purchase the game and the VR set, he still forgot!

"Those 6 hours of walking and I still forgot, How selfish!"

It was only 2 hours of walking to reach Silent Killers game store, however, it was only 2 hours for Shema alone... He was the fastest among Silent and Shiro, and even with his fastest pace, he would have decreased the duration to 2 hours!

But for Silent, everything changed. Yes, Silent was fast but he didn't walk at his maximum speed to only maintain equilibrium between the flame that ignited in his legs out of exhaustion and the decent distance covered in his walk.

It happened to take him 3 hours and a couple of minutes to go and come back, which came to a total of 6 hours and a few minutes spent just to purchase the game.

That day, Silent returned home at 11:31 P.m. and immediately pushed himself lying on the bed without even changing his clothes. Exhaustion tore him apart that he didn't only sleep once his head touched the soft pillow but also didn't wear off his hoodie before sleeping… He forgot!

At least he could set the alarm on several times and the most important one was the release time.

That's when Silent woke up at 10:56 before the afternoon, he slept for 12 whole hours…

Silent: "I had to say it, I didn't have another choice."

Silent used to sleep for 12 hours daily. Add to this, his sleeping routine was devoured by the true core of chaos. Sleeping at night, in the morning, after dawn, afternoon... Even after sunset! It simply didn't matter much to him, as long as he was sleepy, he would sleep no matter what time it was.

"Ugh, whatever. Let's see my new dimension of Fantasy."

Realizing where he was, he threw his thoughts and irritations aside and readied himself for the new journey that awaited him ahead... A New Life!

Sing! Sing!

Birds were heard singing everywhere. Numerous amount of them flew in groups, indicating their migration season. Water flows were running with lots and lots of drops, falling and hitting the rocks beneath... Waterfalls!

Slowly opening his eyes, a man in his early twenties struggled to open his gloomy eyes. Upon finally opening his eyes after so much suffering, the young man saw an old wooden room with a broken chair with some scratches and a table with nothing on it but a wooden plate.

Shifting his gaze with only his eyes to his right, he also realized an opened window with sunlight penetrating the room through it.

"W-Where... Am... I?" Trying so hard to talk as he lifted his mouth's corner to the maximum extent to only say these three brief words.

The young man was covered in an old, torn blanket. He didn't know what he was wearing because the blanket covered his whole body but he could see from the torn places that his clothes were black in color. The young man had messy hair, and despite being too long that it was natural to be in this state, it was far worse.

"Ugh!" The young man tried to raise his hand a bit but he couldn't. Pain flowed through his whole body, every inch of his muscles ached from severe pain just from lifting his head... for a bit!

'What the hell is happening?' The young man muttered in complete silence, confused as he seemed to be lost. He didn't know where he was or what was going on. Completely desperate to find out, he rested his whole body, relaxing so his pain could cool down... just for a bit!

The pain he felt was so unbearable that some blood appeared rushing out of his mouth, railing down the edge of his lips.

'What is happening? How did I get here? Why am I so weak like this? I can't remember a thing! Damn It!'

Slowly shattering from within, he surrendered to the amount of severe pain that hit him hard and glanced to the left side... Of course, with his eyes only!

Upon his gaze fell on the left side of the nearly-shattered room, he spotted a wooden door that had so many cracks on it. Along with his damaged vision, his sense of hearing was in a mess too. The singing birds and the flows of waterfalls that reached his ears were barely heard. He felt as if there was an invisible barrier that prevented him to hear or even see properly.

'This is bad.' In fact, it wasn't bad, it was some kind of nightmarish hell! His skin was so skinny that his bones were perfectly seen, his muscles were so fragile, hunger tortured him from the inside, his face was pale and naive... He looked just like a corpse! Only one word would fit his state correctly... He was Destroyed!

'What should I do in this shattered body? Wait... What is that?!' Finally letting his body relax, he lifted his eyes upwards only to see something... Unbelievable!

[The Trial has… (Glitch sounds!) Begun!]

[Main Quest Installation: Completed!]

[Survive!]

'What the...' Confused and shocked, the young man stared at the relics in front of him... only to change in an instant, revealing a set of new ones...
