CHAPTER TEN

I wake to the sound of something breaking. But to my dismay, I find myself alone in bed. Don't tell me this was a dream. But what kind of dream was that? I hate Bane and I know he hates me too. I see my bracelet glistening differently. What's up with this thing?

"Phoenix are you ready for school?" I half yell.

"Yeah, I'm done" yet another thing breaks I inhale to keep my cool.

I walk to the kitchen and find it like a pigsty. I love Phoenix but they are times when I just...

"PHOENIIIIIIIIIX!" I shout.

"I love you, Angela!" He shouts then I hear the backdoor close.

I check the time, and even if I try to be quick I reach his house on time so I call him

"Speak" I freeze. Who says that?

"Bane?" I squeak 

"I don't have all day" 

"I know you have a busy schedule but I'm going to be an hour late" 

He chuckled "You have less than 20 minutes to be here" and then he ends the call.

Less than twenty minutes? I haven't even showered yet. This guy takes pleasure in torturing me.

I take a shower put on a black jumpsuit slit on a leather jacket and leave my hair loose. And rush to his house.

I'm a minute late and I'm sure he's going to make me account for it.

Luckily they have prepared his coffee all I have to do is give it to him

 "Your coffee" I put it on the table and wait for his comment.

"I think we should get you a uniform like other maids" I frowned.

"My clothes? What's wrong with them?" I ask checking myself out.

"They're painful to my eyes" That time he only wears black colors too.

"Listen here, I will not have you dictate my life and how I wear too you lost that right when your filthy friends tried to rape me!" I 

"What the?... Why are you making it seem like I told them to do so?" I raise my voice

"Your job was to protect me all the more reason why I came here in the first place!" He stands up

"And I did!" He walks closer.

"Oh really? I take off my jacket and show him my wrists, "Then why do I have these bruises" 

His eyes fall to my arms while I look at him.

"What? Cat got your tongue? What does it feel like to fail at something?" He keeps quiet, his eyes still fixed on my arms, I look in his direction, or rather my chest.

I look at my cleavage and then back at him

"What Mr. Alpha? Like what you see? " He looks at me and pinched his nose.

"You should get a uniform," he says and exits the room.

Bane

As soon as I end the call I think of all possible ways to punish her for being late but to my surprise, she enters the room in a black suede jumpsuit that fit her nicely like it was made especially for her it hugged her curves so we'll I imagined them under the jumpsuit then loose from there.

She turned, damn this girl was a goddess she looked so beautiful in the black lipstick she was wearing. 

"Your coffee," she said bringing me back to my senses, did she see me gawking at her home in 

"I think we should get you a uniform like other maids," I say. 

"My clothes? What's wrong with them?" She looked at herself.

"They're painful to my eyes" she looks at herself if only she knew how hot she looked

"Listen here, I will not have you dictate my life and how I wear too you lost that right when your filthy friends tried to rape me!" She shouts at me, knowing perfectly well I don't like noise

"What the?... Why are you making it seem like I told them to do so?" I raise my voice

"Your job was to protect me all the more reason why I came here in the first place!" I stand up

"And I did!" I walk closer.

"Oh really? She takes off her jacket and shows me her wrists, "Then why do I have these bruises"

I look at her arms, why hasn't she healed yet? I'm a hundred percent sure she's a wolf then how come she still hasn't healed yet? Or is she human? No that can't be true, she has a scent. I felt she was a rouge.

My eyes move to her chest, there I see the most beautiful view I've ever seen. Did she purposely put her cleavage out in the open to seduce me? If she did then she was succeeding. I almost drooled just looking at her cleavage.

"What? Cat got your tongue? What does it feel like to fail at something?" I keep quite enjoying the scenery God has created.

"What Mr. Alpha? Like what you see? " I shift my attention to her.

"You should get a uniform" I leave the room

Tall, long legs, huge breasts that's what I settle for, those are the things that excite me and turn me on not her. She's short breastless and her legs aren't tall but the girl turns me on even with her close on. 

I lean against the wall and catch my breath because it hitched the minute I laid my eyes on her how can something be this hot and annoying at the same time? She irks me to the core and I don't want her near me I just take pleasure in seeing her hurt but at the same time, I want her so badly.

'Oh boy you're in trouble' my wolf says and I shut him up.

Every time we get into a situationship with this little she-wolf he thinks she's our mate. I need a shower a long cold shower.

"Bane!" She calls out.

"Your coffee" I frown

"The maid said your grandma made it so you need to have it" I just turn.

"Bane your grandma's efforts are in there you should at least take a sip" my grannie is the only family I have left and I love her but she makes the most horrible coffee I've ever tasted.

"Take a sip yourself first," I say and she sips only to spit it out.

"What does she put in here?" 

"Something that makes you never want to drink her coffee again" I chuckle.

"Still, I don't have any other family besides Phoenix I'd even eat his shit if he wants me to so you have to drink it either way" she gives it to me.

"What?" 

"If your granny dies today and you'll have wasted away the last thing she made with love for you how would you feel?" 

"Emotional blackmail" I take the coffee and gulp it down since it's cold. She gives me a grin and walks away

A load of trouble I've gotten myself into.
