Adalyn let Logan fall on the bed like a dead person and turned to leave him. Her head was full of thoughts so she just planned to walk out of the room and go to her friends.

"Adalyn!" However, she heard her name from a distance. She thought it was Logan because of his weakness but he wasn't planning to call her back. He was planning to pull her back to stay with him.

Then Adalyn realized that her friends were the one calling after they'd called her more than once. So she ran out of Logan's room, leaving the man looking in the space she occupied before going.

'I wanted her all to myself after those punishments,' he laid in bed now looking at the ceiling. 'Of course, I should get her something for taking care of me even though it was only for a little while.'
