[Setting: Mexico City]
[Second Fight, Round 1: Aron Fears vs. Neal Swatski]
Aron Fears stepped in—yawning. His eyes half-closed. Bored outta his mind with this whole "tournament" thing. He lowered his body to the ground, slouched like he didn't even care.
Then Neal Swatski entered—movements sharp, calculated. He adjusted his stance slowly. Controlled breathing. Calm. His eyes locked on Aron.
Aron's face? Twisted in disinterest.
Neal's? Cold. Focused. Ready.
Suddenly, a mechanical voice thundered through the arena—
[FIGHT IS GONNA START AT 1...]
Aron slowly began lifting his body up. Still lazy. Still sluggish.
Neal didn't move. Just stood still. Coiled like a blade.

[FIGHT!!!]
FWOOOM!!!
Aron's legs snapped black—pure obsidian fire igniting down his thighs. Dark flames burned around his calves. He slammed his front foot down—
BOOM!!!
Cracks shot through the ground.
Then—
WHOOSH!!
In a blink, Aron lunged, flames blazing behind him, a shockwave of heat exploding across the floor. Glass shattered. Windows screamed. Burning.
Neal still didn't move.
Aron's right fist ignited—FWWRRRMMM—black fire cloaked it like a demon's glove. He slid his foot forward, back leg twisted on the ball of his foot—then launched a fiery fist toward Neal's face.
But—
THOOM!!!
Neal raised a single hand. Slammed his palm down on Aron's fist—redirected the momentum like water.
CRACK!!!
Aron's body jerked open—wide. Exposed.
WHUMP!!!
Neal's fist slammed into his gut.
CRACK!!!
His other fist smashed his jaw.
SLAMMM!!!
Final palm collided with his cheek—shockwave roared through the air.
BAM—BAM—BAM!!
Aron went flying—bounced off the ground like a ragdoll—rolled—dirt and dust spinning up with every slam.
Silence.
Then—
Sssszzzt—FWWMMM.
Aron rose. Flames flickered. Bruises? None. Damage? Nothing.
He had blocked all of it with his black flame guard—but the blur made it invisible to the eye.
The two stared.
A long moment.
Aron still bored.
Then—BOOM!!!
He was gone.
Dark flames howled—his body vanished into blur-speed. Fire swirled like a vortex around him as he threw a storm of fists. Black flame fists. High kicks. Low sweeps. Brutal punches.
THUD. THUMP. THWACK.
Neal flowed—fluid. Calm. He dodged each one—barely. Parried. Tilted his head. Narrow dodges—like pixels away from getting hit.
Aron swung at his head—Neal ducked.
But Aron turned it up—flames flared brighter—
WHHHOOM!!!
A shockwave blasted into Neal's face—he staggered back, the skin on his cheek sizzling. Smoke rose.
Still, his face didn't change. Neutral.
Aron lunged again—wild, vicious.
Neal moved.
Evade.
Counter.
Evade.
FWACK.
Aron's fire fist missed.
THUMP.
Neal raised his forearm—blocked.
CRACK!
Elbow strike aimed for Aron's face—
But Aron anticipated. Activated the shield—black flame erupted in front of him—
FWWRRSSHH!!
Neal feinted—then his foot snapped up—
THUMP!!!
Sole of his foot slammed into Aron's knee. It shook—but didn't crack.
Then came the flurry—
HOOK!!!
UPPERCUT!!!
PALM STRIKE!!!
BAM. CRACK. THOOM.
Uppercut to the chin.
Palm to the solar plexus.
GASP—!!!
Aron's breath vanished from his lungs. Staggering. Reeling.
He could barely react.
Blood spilled from his lips. His hands trembled for a second.
Aron finally caught his breath—
PTOO!!!
Blood hit the ground. Thick. Hot.
"That surprised me… honestly," he muttered, licking the blood off his lips.
Neal stood still—just a few meters away. Calm. Watching.
"You react too much," Neal said, voice flat, expression colder than before.
Aron's face shifted.
From boredom—
To locked in.
Eyes narrow. Heat rising.
"Alright then… I'll turn up the heat," he growled.
FWOOOM!!!
Both of Aron's arms engulfed in black flames—twisting, screaming, spiraling. He turned it up—hotter—hotter—until his skin began to melt. That's where he stopped.
SHHZZZTT!!!
He vanished.
A boom of speed cracked the ground behind him—Aron appeared in front of Neal in a blink.
Neal's eyes finally sharpened. He had to try now.
CRACKKK!!
Fist slammed into Neal's face.
WHUMP!!
Hooks to the body—
FSSHH!!!
Flames scorched flesh—skin burned—blood steamed.
Neal tried to block, parry, evade—but Aron was too fast—too hot. He tanked some hits, dodged others—but he was slipping.
WHAM!!!
Hook to the temple.
BAMMM!!!
Hook to the other temple.
SHOCKWAVE!!!
Neal's body launched—sent flying through a small building—then CRASH!!!
Through another.
BOOM!!
And another.
He finally slammed a hand into a wall—stopped himself, caught momentum.
But Aron was already there.
Chasing him—relentless.
Then—
Delay.
Neal's eyes glowed. Reflexes shifted. His whole body bent smoother, faster—like he was thinking one second ahead.
WHOOSH—WHIFF—WHAM!
He tilted his head—evaded Aron's barrage. Kicks. Punches. Every move circled the room, furniture exploding in flames. Tables turned to ash. Smoke everywhere.
Neal parried Aron's hand down—
THWACK!!!
Fist slammed into Aron's jaw—
...then pause...
Delay...
BOOM!!!
Force hit 1px stronger than normal. It sent Aron staggering, sideways—face torn up. Blood poured. Bruises spreading.
Neal didn't stop—
WHAMMM!!!
Both hands behind Aron's head—
KNEE TO THE FACE!!!
CRACK!!!
Nose shattered. Blood gushed.
But Aron—
Grabbed Neal's thigh and burned it.
FSSSSHH!!!
Neal flinched—backed away fast.
Aron had enough of the chasing.
He activated—
Flame Projectile.
Left hand lit up—hotter—hotter—
Muscles expanded—veins popped—he pushed it just before overheating.
He raised his palm—
BWOOM!!!
A massive shockwave erupted.
Air recoiled.
A blade-like flame projectile—dark, screaming—tore toward Neal.
Neal raised his arm to block—
FWWAAARRGGHH!!!
His forearm burned down to flesh—blood sprayed.
BOOMMMM!!!
He went flying—crashed out of the building—
SLAM!!!
Hit the ground. The impact cracked the arena floor in multiple directions.
Neal's face finally changed.
He clenched his teeth.
Aron dropped from above like a demon—
BOOM!!!
Aron landed.
They stared—
Finally, Aron was excited.
Aron moved first—
FWHAM!!!
Fist slammed into Neal's gut.
CRACK!!!
Neal countered—elbow to the face.
BAM!!!
Aron blocked—parried—hooked Neal's jaw twice—
WHIP!!
Spun—back kick—caught him in the stomach.
Neal staggered.
Aron lifted his leg—
SLAM!!
Shin crashed down into Neal's inner thigh.
Then—
HIGH KICK!!!
CRACK!!!
Right to the face. Blood flew.
FLAME FLURRY!!!
A barrage of punches—flames melting his own skin from the heat—
Neal grabbed both of Aron's wrists—held him in place—
Then—
SLAMMMM!!!
HEADBUTT!!!
Forehead to forehead—full force—
BOOOOM!!!
SHOCKWAVE EXPLODED!!!
Both bodies thrown back—air ripped behind them from the impact.
Smoke. Ash. Blood.
And still, they weren't done.
They both rose.
Blood dripping.
Skin torn. Flesh steaming.
Aron wiped the blood off his mouth—
But this time…
He wasn't bored.
He smiled.
Not mocking.
Not smug.
Excitement.
Pure. Raw. Adrenaline.
Across from him—
Neal stood up.
Wiped blood from his chin.
His eyes didn't burn with excitement.
They burned with focus.
Locked in. Dialed in.
BOOM!
Aron's black flames erupted, spiraling higher—
Melting his skin—
Bones hissing—
Heat bending the air.
Black Rage.
FWOOSH!!!
Flames exploded upward—
Air recoiled—
The ground cracked apart beneath his feet.
Aron vanished—
BOOM!!! BOOM!!! BOOM!!!
He launched in—fists firing, legs spinning, moves twisting like whirlwinds—
Black fire everywhere.
SHOCKWAVES ripping the earth.
Neal's eyes flared—
One hand lifted.
Glass Field.
CHING!!!
Invisible layers of super-glass materialized—
A dome. A barrier.
Impenetrable.
Aron didn't stop.
He channeled all his flames to his arms—
Fire hissed, formed—
A black sword appeared in his grip, forged from hellfire.
FWASH!!!
He slashed—
CRACK!!!
Glass fractured—again—again—
Neal braced—
Took the hits to his body—his flesh sliced—
Aron slid in low—foot dragging—momentum building—
HIS RIGHT HAND CHARGED—
VZZZZTTT!!!
Sounded like it was about to explode.
BOOOOOMMMMMM!!!
Hand slammed the glass—
Shattered!!!
Explosion ripped through the air—
Flames surged. Dark clouds exploded.
20 kilometers away—buildings shook.
Windows shattered.
Birds died mid-air.
Neal flew.
His skin burned off—
Flesh melted—
Face exposed the skull beneath—
Blood rained.
CRASH!!!
Through a building.
BOOM!!!
Another.
SLAMMM!!!
Final impact—into the ground—crater forming beneath him.
Neal forced himself up—
Body twitching.
He had enough.
Before Aron could close in—
SSHHINGG!!!
A glass projectile fired—
SLASH!
Across Aron's ribs—deep.
Aron moved—
But more came.
WHIP!!! WHIP!!! WHIP!!!
Multiple shards tore into him—
Flesh parted—blood sizzled.
He blocked one—
Shattered another—
But they kept coming.
Then—
CHHHHHINGGGG!!!
Two giant glass slabs—one left, one right—
SLAMMED INTO HIM!!!
BOOMMMM!!!
Air recoiled—
Glass exploded on impact.
Super-glass.
Tougher than steel.
Only Aron's flames made it possible to break.
But he wasn't done.
Aron kept melting—
Screaming—
Flames coating his limbs as he slammed into the glass again and again—
Trying to break through.
Trying to get to Neal.
But Neal—
He kept summoning more.
Each shard—each wall—tougher than the last.
His hands trembled.
Blood leaking from his mouth.
Organs slashing themselves from overuse.
But he kept going.
Both of them—
Burning. Breaking. Dying.
And neither one backing down.
Suddenly—
Neal's ability… began to wear him down.
His body twitched.
His breathing hitched.
He stopped.
The glass... stopped forming.
That's all Aron needed.
FWOOOOM!!!
He lunged forward—body low—
Fist clenched—
Black flames crackling like a storm on his skin.
He slammed his fist into Neal's chest—
CRACKKK!!!
Flames burst through his ribs—black fire traveling deep—
Bones cracking from the inside out.
Shockwave ran through the ground—the earth split.
Neal staggered—
WOOSH!!!
Aron came in again—faster—
His flames barely missed—
Still scorched his skin.
Flesh burned. Sizzled. Peeled.
Neal gritted his teeth—
No time to hesitate.
Glass Fist.
SHHHHINKK!!!
His arm and hand turned into solid, reinforced glass—
Stronger.
Tougher.
Unbreakable.
CLANG!!!
He blocked Aron's attack—
Arm raised—legs planted—
Kicks checked—punches absorbed.
Not even black flames cracked the glass.
Then—
SLIDE.
Neal shifted—
Front foot slid outside of Aron's—
Better angle.
He reeled his arm back—
BAMMMM!!!
Glass fist smashed into Aron's ribs—
But it didn't stop there.
From the inside—
SCHHHRIIIPPP!!!
Blade-like glass erupted outward from within—
Piercing his internal flesh.
Ripping. Tearing. Bleeding.
"AGHH!!" Aron grunted—
Flames flickering.
Neal didn't stop.
POP. POP. POP. POP. POP.
Body. Head. Arm.
Elbows. Ribs. Jaw.
Each strike precise. Calculated. Surgical.
But still brutal.
Every blow forced new glass blades to tear through Aron's insides—
Sticking out from his skin.
Blood pouring.
Flames dimming.
Aron staggered.
Bent into the hits.
Observing.
"Tch..."
He noticed—
If he leans into the punches—small blades.
But if he resists—
Big blades. Deep blades.
So he leaned in.
It hurt.
But it bought him time.
Then—
Cracks.
Like veins.
Like rivers.
Spiderwebs of light.
All over his body.
Black flames began to flow through the cracks—
Devil Flames.
Neal roared, slamming his glass fist into Aron's chest—
CRACKKK!!!
But this time—
It broke.
The glass shattered on impact.
Aron didn't flinch.
His body—
Steel-hard.
Flames had corrupted his flesh.
Twisted it. Hardened it.
Then—
WHAM!!!
Aron raised his leg—
SLAMMED his shin into Neal's ribs—
Neal flew sideways—
Gasping.
But it wasn't just pain—
His flesh—
It moved.
Like fire.
Corrupted. Twisting. Burning.
"NGHH!! AHHHH—!"
Neal screamed.
For the first time.
Aron didn't wait—
BARRAGE.
BAM. BAM. BAM. BAM. BAM. BAM. BAM.
Fists to the body—
Hooks—one. two. three... TEN.
Each hit—
More flesh turned to burning flame.
Uppercuts.
JAW SHOTS.
Then—hook kick—
CRACKKK!!!
Jaw snapped.
Neal's flesh mimicked fire—
Burning. Spreading. Melting.
Aron's flames got hotter.
Too hot for pain to keep up.
Then—
BAMMMMM!!!
Final blow—right to the temple—
Momentum carried it—
Slammed Neal's head down into the concrete—
KRAAAKKK!!!
The ground split.
His face buried.
Dust settled.
Blood spread.
