CHAPTER 8 : RESCUE

The next day, I felt adventurous. I took my horse and rode alongside the coastline to where I could access the valley again. I rode around the river and through a little shallow part where the river was dry and many wagons usually went through there.

Today was the day. I galloped with my horse till I saw the girl's faint outline walking on a road towards the forest and mountain.

I jogged my horse, and when I got near her, I scooped her up and placed her in front of me on the horse. Then I did what felt perfect for the moment, on horseback I took the fair maiden's virgin.

We rode like this for what felt like a forever moment. She was wearing a blue dress and I my red jacket & black pants outfit.

I rode with her all around. She made a few moans, and at the end, I gave her the reigns to steer the horse herself.

We went for a mountain walk with the horse and I got to know her a little bit. Her name was Elizabeth and she liked flowers and said it's okay if we get wedded. I was doing the talking most. We discussed the horse about 6 times.

I loved her smell and held her tiny body around the waist in a warm, protective embrace. She laid backwards into my torso as we rode. I even kissed her on her cheek and neck, and she softly kissed my cheek back.

She was the most gentle individual I have ever come across. So kind and sweet. She'd make a perfect wife, I thought. It was perfect. She smelled so nice and fresh and girly. I loved her.

Her "pa" was a sheep farmer and her mother passed away 4 years before. I said that I could give her some money for the family. And gave her some of the jewels I thought I'd give to her when I was in the cave.

We stopped by a tree, where I took her off the horse and kissed her deeply against the mountain. I was touching her all over, and she just tugged at my shirt and embraced my torso.

It felt perfect. I think she longed for me as much as I longed for her. We made love there by the mountain. And when it was over we cuddled and kissed each other laughingly and checked each other out facially.

She traced her hand on my arm and rubbed my eyebrows and looked deeply and intrigued into my green eyes. She had blue eyes, and red lips and blonde hair and best of all, she smelled amazing.

We kissed a few times more before she said she must go home and tell her father the news and also that she would like to freshen up a bit as the mountain isn't a lady's terrain, and it was getting dark and a bit cold.

I put her back on my horse and got up on it as well and then rode how she orchestrated. It was this little gravel road with a black gate where she said I must drop her off. In the distance was a small white house, dutch style and along the road on both sides was fields of grass and white flowers.

I left very satisfied and rode to a nearby place where they sat on hay stacks and barbecued and drank. Pirates life for me. I just kept on thinking of Elizabeth and felt the remembrance of her soft touch on my body.

I loved her. I wanted to wed, I wanted the day over and over again.

I channeled her after a few drinks with the town folk, she just said hmmm and knew it was me, same me from before who she could talk to on the prayer line.

That night I decided I was going to freshen up in the river and washed my clothes a bit. And the idea was to wait for her by the gate the following morning with a flower bouquet.

Ready to take her on a date to the beach, maybe, was the idea.

Halfway through the night, I was woken up by Heikelos; they're trying to kill you and noted a stab cut on my chest to my lung. Heikelos said he saw me drunk and circled by them. I looked around where everyone else lying on the ground, bleeding out, with weapons in their hands. I see the wigged man with the knife in his hand that cut me. "Great timing, Heikelos," I said with a faint smile. "It's about a girl! The girl's in trouble!" Heikelos said. "Let's go!"

I got up and brushed my pants and looked for my horse, but it lay dead by the haystack.

"Run." Heikelos said.

We ran and ran and ran until we could see figures arguing outside the black gate where I dropped the girl off.

It was her. "Come! The voice said, yanking her around. The sky was clear, and the gravel road looked white in the moonlight.

Heikelos took out a gun and shot the man, nearly missing the girl. I took out my pistol and shot the man through the scull.

Both drop. We run closer. She was brutally stabbed; her corset was soaked with blood. I looked at her, and all she could say was, "I didn't find pa."

She fainted, and I felt my soul half in death with her looking at me from a death/sleep realm.

I picked her up. No, no, no' was the thought racing through my mind.

Heikelos said curiously "there's a commotion by the house... another woman." and decided to jot down the path to the house.

I wanted to follow and back my buddy Heikelos but couldn't leave the fair maiden's side.

I take my jacket off and wrap her body in it.

I hear Heikelos's voice and then a gunshot.

I try to ease the pain of Elizabeth's wounds. There was a little bit of blood on her lip, and she made moans of discomfort.

Here Heikelos comes with 2 woman, one in a black and blue dress and the other one who was shorter wore a brown and red dress.
