Chapter 3

"Isn't this enough?"

The Su Mo from the DanMachi world spoke confidently.

"This is the Su family's ancestral fried rice technique!"

"Ancestral?"

The Su Mo in the red-and-white uniform sounded skeptical.

"Why don't I remember our family passing this down?"

"Of course, you don't, because it's not ancestral at all!"

The Su Mo in modern casual wear had a dark expression.

"Wasn't it just a recipe we found online and taught ourselves back in school? What kind of 'ancestral technique' is that?!"

Recalling how he originally learned to cook fried rice, he couldn't help but complain.

003 - The Ultraman Tiga World

"If we pass it down from our generation, won't it be an ancestral technique in a hundred years?"

The Su Mo from the DanMachi world spoke matter-of-factly.

"My cooking skills are so popular that I can run a shop in Orario's busiest district! Now that you guys have learned it, isn't that a win for all of us?"

"To be fair, yeah, that does sound pretty nice."

The Su Mo in the red-and-white uniform nodded after thinking about it.

"I used to either eat cafeteria food or order takeout. If I can cook good fried rice myself, that's definitely an upgrade."

However, the Su Mo in modern casual wear noticed something unusual.

"Wait a minute! Did you just say… Orario?"

His eyes suddenly lit up.

"Don't tell me… You got sent to that Orario from DanMachi?"

"That's right."

The Su Mo from DanMachi confirmed it and added,

"If I'm right, you both should have received Falna as well."

Compared to fried rice skills, Falna was the real game-changer in the DanMachi world.

Since Su Mo had never gone dungeon diving, his stats hadn't improved at all, which was probably why the other two hadn't noticed.

"Falna, if I recall, is the divine blessing created by the gods that unlocks a person's hidden potential."

The Su Mo in the red-and-white uniform analyzed.

"It doesn't directly grant strength, but it lets you gain experience through battle and steadily increase your power—an incredibly useful system."

"The only problem is that Falna has to be updated by a god for experience to be converted into power. Meaning, no matter how many battles we win, it won't actually make us stronger unless a god updates our status."

"That is an issue."

The Su Mo in casual wear nodded but then offered an idea.

"But this might not be a bad thing."

"Since we can share power through this space, we might also be able to share stored experience."

"If that's the case, all we'd need to do is meet up again, transfer all our stored experience to the DanMachi version of me, let him get his status updated, and then share the results back with us."

"That way, even if it's a bit tedious, none of our experience would go to waste, and it could all be turned into real power."

His meaning was simple.

Each of them lived different lives and accumulated different experiences.

If the foggy space allowed them to share stored experience along with their powers, then their combined efforts would create an enormous pool of strength.

Hearing this, the Su Mo from DanMachi widened his eyes in realization.

"That makes so much sense! This is like using the Shadow Clone technique to grind experience!"

"If I have the experience of three people, then even if I do nothing, I should be able to level up to Level 2 in no time!"

And as more versions of himself arrived, his growth would accelerate even further.

Eventually, wouldn't he be able to level up just by lying around?!

Seeing his excitement, the other two Su Mos exchanged glances before shaking their heads with amusement.

"You're thinking too small."

The Su Mo in modern casual wear waved his index finger.

"Level 2? That's nothing. If our plan works, we could reach Level 9 or even Level 10."

The Su Mo in red-and-white uniform nodded in agreement.

"Level 10?"

The Su Mo from DanMachi was stunned.

After all, the strongest adventurer in Orario was only Level 7, and there was only one of them.

No one had ever reached Level 9 or 10.

According to the gods, an adventurer at Level 9 might wield power on par with divinity itself.

And yet, his alternate selves were casually talking about that level?!

But he had no reason to doubt them.

These were him—from across the multiverse.

While Falna was powerful in Orario, in the grand scale of infinite worlds, it was far from the strongest system.

If they were pooling together their strengths from countless realities, then surpassing the limits of Orario's adventurers was only a matter of time.

Feeling both excited and curious, the Su Mo from DanMachi eagerly asked,

"So what's the plan? Teach me, masters!"

"Ahem!"

The Su Mo in the red-and-white uniform cleared his throat and spoke seriously.

"Before we get into that, we should introduce ourselves properly. That way, things will be clearer."

"Yeah, that makes sense."

The Su Mo from DanMachi nodded.

He realized that he still didn't know what worlds the other two came from.

"I already explained mine—I'm from the DanMachi world. What about you two?"

"I'll go first."

The Su Mo in red-and-white uniform adjusted his helmet and struck a pose.

"Victory Team's Chief Strategy Officer Su Mo, reporting for duty!"

"Victory Team?"

The Su Mo from DanMachi froze, then his expression turned to disbelief.

"You mean Ultraman Tiga's Victory Team?! You're in the Ultraman universe?!"

No wonder that uniform had looked familiar!

"That's right."

The Su Mo from Ultraman nodded.

"Once I realized I was in the Tiga universe, I knew it was too dangerous to stay a normal civilian. So I dedicated myself to researching ancient civilizations, graduated as a doctor early, and got recruited into the Victory Team."

"I'm actually one of the first members of the team. I'm a senior veteran now!"

The Su Mo in casual wear couldn't help but comment,

"Yeah, but you're still a normal human."

The Ultraman Su Mo just shrugged helplessly.

"I don't have ancient giant warrior genes or the ability to transform into light. I was never going to become an Ultraman."

"What, did you want me to turn into a Kaiju instead?"

"Besides, if we're talking about normal humans, you have no room to talk!"

With that, the Ultraman Su Mo turned to the one in modern casual wear and mercilessly called him out.

004 - The Plan: Turn Su Mo into Light

"So you're also just a regular guy?"

The Su Mo from DanMachi was speechless.

Wasn't this space supposed to be a gathering of his alternate selves who had gained crazy abilities?

Even though he himself hadn't powered up yet, at least he had Falna, a system meant for growth.

But the first two people he met here were both still ordinary humans?

"Wait, no—there's definitely some kind of special power mixed in with my own. There's no way these two are completely normal!"

With a questioning gaze, he waited for an answer.

"Heh. I may be normal for now, but that's only temporary!"

The Su Mo in modern casual wear grinned smugly.

"The world I was sent to is one where I can gain divine powers—where I can skyrocket in strength instantly!"

"A world where you can gain divine powers?"

The Su Mo from DanMachi asked curiously.

There were only a few possibilities.

"It's the Campione! world!"

The modern Su Mo revealed the truth.

"The one where you can kill gods and steal their powers to become an unstoppable godslayer!"

"Hiss—!"

The Su Mo from DanMachi took a sharp breath.

A world where killing a god meant inheriting their divine powers?

If any world could truly let someone reach the top in an instant, Campione! would definitely be one of them!
