Ch5: The Dismissal Incident

The principal was well aware that anyone who could casually donate ten million just for fun had to come from an extraordinary family—only someone with immense wealth could afford such generosity. For a young master of this caliber, even the principal had to treat him with utmost respect.

"My name is Lin Yun."

Lin Yun turned around, sat down, crossed his legs, and said, "Principal, my ten million isn't a free donation. I have two conditions."

"Please, go ahead!" The principal nodded eagerly.

He had already suspected that this young master wouldn't just donate money without a purpose—there had to be a reason behind it.

Lin Yun took a sip of tea from the cup handed to him by the secretary, then said calmly, "First, expel the teacher Zheng Dawei (nicknamed Zheng the Butcher). Second, guarantee that I pass all my courses, no matter how many classes I skip."

"No problem!" The principal agreed without hesitation.

Expelling a mere teacher was a trivial matter. There were plenty of teachers anyway, but ten million was far more valuable!

"Good. Then I won't take up more of your time. I hope you'll handle the expulsion as soon as possible," Lin Yun said as he stood up.

His goal in coming here was to ensure that Zheng the Butcher was fired, and now that he had achieved it, there was no need to stay.

"I'll personally escort you out, Young Master Lin," the principal said as he hurriedly followed Lin Yun, seeing him off all the way out of the office.

After Lin Yun left, the principal turned to his secretary.

"Xiao Li, go check his records immediately. Find out which prestigious family he belongs to!"

Anyone who could casually donate ten million had to come from a powerful background—of this, the principal was certain.

"Yes, sir! I'll get right on it!" The secretary responded swiftly.

2 PM, Inside the Classroom

"Lin Yun, you just went to the office to see Zheng the Butcher, right? Did he agree to forgive you?" his deskmate, Fatty, asked.

"No, he didn't agree, because I never apologized. He's the one who should be apologizing," Lin Yun said nonchalantly.

"What? Lin Yun, are you out of your mind?" Fatty looked at him in disbelief.

"Don't worry, I'm perfectly fine. As for Zheng the Butcher, since he offended me, his only fate is expulsion," Lin Yun said with a faint smile.

"Lin Yun, you're really talking nonsense now! You should hurry up and apologize to Zheng the Butcher, or he'll make things difficult for you at the end of the semester. That'd be a real problem!" Fatty said urgently.

In Fatty's eyes, poor students like them could never afford to offend a teacher.

Their conversation was overheard by a classmate sitting behind them—Zhang Hu.

Zhang Hu was from a wealthy family; his father was in the construction materials business, and he had connections with gang members. Because of this, he was the most arrogant and domineering person in the class, and no one dared to cross him.

"Lin Yun, did you just say that because Zheng the Butcher offended you, he'll be expelled? Haha, you must be kidding me! That's the funniest thing I've heard all day!" Zhang Hu burst into laughter.

Then, he stood up and shouted loudly, "Hey, everyone! Lin Yun just said that Zheng the Butcher offended him, so Zheng the Butcher is going to be expelled! Isn't that hilarious?"

His voice was so loud that the entire class heard him.

Hearing this, the classmates turned to look at Zhang Hu and Lin Yun.

"That's right. I did say that. Is there a problem?" Lin Yun replied calmly. "Since he offended me, he's bound to be expelled—even Jesus himself couldn't save him."

"What? Even Jesus couldn't save him?"

"Hahaha!"

The entire class burst into laughter, including Zhang Hu.

"Damn! Lin Yun always seemed like a quiet guy, but now he's boasting like crazy!"

"Exactly! Does he think he's some rich and powerful heir? He's just a broke kid—what power does he have to get Zheng the Butcher expelled?"

Most of the students in the class knew that Lin Yun came from a poor family, so no one believed he had the ability to get a teacher fired.

Even Fatty nudged him and whispered, "Lin Yun, it's fine to brag to me, but why boast in front of the whole class? It's embarrassing."

"I'm not bragging," Lin Yun said seriously.

"Looks like you really have a fever today," Fatty said, speechless, not knowing what else to say.

Lin Yun wasn't surprised by Fatty's reaction—after all, Fatty knew his family's financial situation well.

The Class Begins

The bell rang, signaling the start of the lesson.

The first class in the afternoon was, as expected, taught by Zheng the Butcher.

Zheng the Butcher walked into the classroom slowly.

"Mr. Zheng!"

Zhang Hu suddenly stood up and said loudly, "Mr. Zheng, Lin Yun just said in class that because you offended him, the school is going to expel you!"

After saying this, Zhang Hu crossed his arms, ready to enjoy the show.

Hearing this, Zheng the Butcher's expression darkened. Lin Yun had already irritated him in the office earlier, and now, this pushed his anger to the limit.

Bang!

Zheng the Butcher slammed his textbook onto the desk and glared at Lin Yun.

"Lin Yun! You must have a death wish! How dare you publicly slander a teacher? I will make sure the school punishes you severely!" he roared.

"Oh no! Lin Yun's in trouble now!"

Zhang Hu and his group whistled, eager to watch the drama unfold.

The other students shook their heads. A poor student offending a teacher? That was a terrible decision.

"Lin Yun, quickly deny it! Say you never said that and apologize, or you're doomed!" Fatty whispered urgently, nudging him.

Lin Yun stood up.

Under everyone's watchful eyes, he smiled and said, "Zheng the Butcher, everything Zhang Hu said is true—I did say that."

Boom!

The entire class erupted into chaos.

"He admitted it?! He even dared to call him 'Zheng the Butcher' to his face?!"

"Oh my god, he's insane! Does he even want to graduate?!"

No one had ever dared to say that nickname to Zheng the Butcher's face before!

On the podium, Zheng the Butcher's eyes burned with uncontrollable fury.

"Lin Yun, mark my words! If you graduate successfully, I'll write my name backward!" he shouted.

Just then, a school director entered the classroom with two security guards.

"Director Wu, what brings you here?"

Zheng the Butcher quickly put on a polite smile.

"Zheng Dawei, you have been expelled. The principal has ordered you to leave immediately," the director announced coldly.

"What… what?! I've been expelled?" Zheng the Butcher's face turned pale.

"This must be a mistake! Why would I suddenly be expelled?" he protested.

"Security, escort him out!" the director ordered.

The guards grabbed Zheng the Butcher by the arms.

"No, no! This can't be happening!" he shouted as he was dragged away.

Director Wu turned to the class and said, "Continue with your self-study," before leaving.

The classroom fell into an eerie silence.

All eyes turned to Lin Yun.

His earlier words had come true—Zheng the Butcher had really been expelled!

Could it be… that this was because of Lin Yun?
