Beetles

After compelling the man,Ethan entered his car

and sped off going to a town known as beetles.

That town was filled with werewolves,

Ethan knew he was going to a den full of wolves.

Getting to beetles,Ethan stopped at a pub leaving

the car in the car park.

He entered the noisy place,where werewolves reside and party all day.

He walked amidst the crowds of noisy wolfs,

they were drinking and playing loud music.

Ethan got to the bar counter where a red haired lady was the bartender,she was dressed like a stripper with exposing tattoos all over her body and piercing.

"What a hot snack"she grinned seeing Ethan.

"Where is your basement?"Ethan questioned ignoring her flirts.

The woman frowned before dropping a name tag on the desk.

Ethan rolled his eyes not interested in any formality,

"Where is your basement Vera"he called out the name on the tag.

"It in usage"she responded with a flirty smile.

Ethan knew compelling her wouldn't work and he didn't want attention that could bring trouble to Emily.

"I will ask you kindly take me to the person using your basement"he stated with a small smile.

"Alright"she smiled.

Stepping out from the counter,

she lead Ethan away from the crowd.

Ethan was lead to what looked like an underground prison,the stairs were dirty with rodents around.

"I wouldn't want to take a fine man as your self here"she says while walking forward.

Ethan didn't respond to her words as he was in

haste right now knowing Emily was down here.

The place irked of dead bodies,the bodies of humans killed and dumped here.

Ethan didn't seem at all pleased knowing Emily was in a place like this and her state.

He didn't find the smell bad as he was used to smells like these.

Vera soon stopped getting to an old wooden door before turning to Ethan,

"You are on your own now,he is a big bad wolf"

she smiled advising him to be careful of Micheal.

Ethan pushed open the closed door where two were wolves sat outside guarding another door.

The place was different from the other side of the basement that looked like a dungeon.

Here there was an opened space, two blocks separating themselves as a room was on both side.

A shaking bulb lighten made little noise feeling the room,down here was more quieter and different from the bar.

The two wolves guards were busy puffing a cigarette and hadn't noticed Ethan.

One of the wolves,a bearded man with bald haired and a snake tattoo on his head frowned seeing the man.

"Who are you?"he questioned as both of them

got up alert.

"Have you both seen any tender angel who was brought down here?"he asked with sarcasm.

The guard who had questioned glared at him

before sharing a look with the other guard.

Both of them immediately attacked Ethan knowing he was here for the girl brought in by their boss.

They were stunned at how fast he was and how he invaded their attacks.

"Vampire!"they yelled,

One thing about the basement was it was sound proof and people from above couldn't hear them.

Ethan soon separated both guards head from their body as he threw their heads to the floor which rolled away.

Staring at the bodies on the floor,he frowned before cleaning his hand with a kerchief he brought out from his pocket.

Ethan kicked on the door and it opened to see Micheal tending to Emily's wounds.

He frowned surprised to see a view he hadn't expected,

With one movement,he pushed Micheal away from Emily.

"Ethan!"Emily exclaimed.

Micheal frowned getting up on his feet to see a vampire.

"He must be your boyfriend"he smirked.

Ethan ran to Emily,she was still tied up on the chair.

Micheal had heard the fight outside but didn't intervene and decided to play by the vampire's

rules seeing as he had killed his guards smoothly.

Ethan immediately untied Emily from the chair before she wrapped her arms around him.

"Are you okay?"he whispered.

"Yes"she replied softly.

Ethan turned to see Micheal gone,

"Let's just leave"Emily pleaded.

Ethan didn't want Emily being exposed to a darker side of him and just went with her request.

Carrying Emily in his arms,he left immediately using the back door of the basement leading outside.

Emily was still weak as she had suffered multiple injuries today.

Getting to his stolen vehicle,he placed Emily gently on the passenger's seat.

"It's so late"Emily frowned.

Ethan entering the car,he turned to Emily.

"Why didn't you call me?"Ethan frowned.

Emily could see the worry in his eyes which soften her heart,she knew she liked the man already.

"He knew we were involved with vampires"she responded knowing she couldn't had informed him in the police station which could alert the cops on their kinds.

"We could easily compel them"he muttered.

Driving the car out,he was out an almost full

speed in the high road getting to the city's hospital.

The town was of werewolves and humans,it was a noisy and unkept town where the people were all laid off.

Emily was immediately taken to an hospital ward with Ethan's orders.

She felt a sense of anger when the nurse kept trying to flirt with Ethan.

The woman knew he was with a girl and yet couldn't keep herself in.

"She is really lucky to have her bones intact,her injuries are minor and with a good care,she would get back to her feet"the doctor remarked before leaving their side.

Ethan sat close to Emily who didn't seem to be fun of the hospital.

"You heard him,I'm going to be alright"she smiled.

Ethan took her hand and kissed the back of her palm,he was so worried earlier when they found

Riley.

"I'm sorry you have to be apart of this mess"he frowned,

"No, I think fate has their plans for me"she gave a small smile reassuring him.
