Through The Glass

Aurora was glad no one saw him drop her off cause she would have to answer a lot of questions which she hated as Aurora never liked being the topic of discussion.

The next day as always,Aurora got ready for school.

Entering the school's building,she caught sight of Mateo which was unusual as she never did see him or she just didn't notice his presence before.

He saw her and turned away and left for his class,she wanted to thank him again but he seemed to have other plans and she didn't want to fiddle more not wanting to get engaged with him.

She saw how he had that bad boy aura and he looked proud and aloof.

Her curious mind wanted to know more about him and she couldn't help but call a student after her class.

"Do you know Mateo Hilton?"she asked one of her students who was one of the easier student to talk to.

"Everyone does"the girl replied,

Aurora didn't quite understand her,

"He is known to get into bloody fights and people are wary of him,some say he is a serial killer and others say he is a mafia boss because of how he dresses and looks. He is part of the six,other students who looked like him,but at of them he is the most scariest one"

The girl looked around before she continued,

"Many girls do fantasies about him but don't dare make a move cause many who did had ended up heartbroken,the headmistress doesn't do anything much to him even do he has given students lot of beatings,those who cross his part"

Aurora listened carefully,hearing how they were students who bullied others and everyone was scared of them.

She wondered if Peter was amongst them cause she had seen him together with those students in the cafeteria.

"Thank you Daniella"she thanked the girl.

"It would be wise you stay clear from them miss"the girl warned before leaving.

Aurora didn't know if she had to be wary of people everyone feared including teachers and the headmistress.

She wanted to know more about him because of how he had helped her the previous day and hearing these things made her think a lot.

The detention room was rather peaceful and Aurora was glad not seeing that Simon boy caught in detention neither Mateo too.

She decided not to ponder much on that and just faced the students here who threw tantrums and ended it.

To avoid anymore incident like the previous day,Aurora had called the driver to pick her up.

Entering the mansion,she was greeted by mr jones.

"Good evening mr jones"she greeted,

"How was class today?"he asked,

"It was alright,please where is Peter?"she asked,

"He is upstairs"mr jones replied.

Aurora thanked the man and left his side.

She decided to change her clothes first,

If she had to speak with Peter,she will do it later.

Aurora knocked on her cousin's door,

Soon someone she didn't expect opened the door.

Mateo stood gazing at her,

Aurora was on short and a crop top,most of her body exposed with her hair tied.

He stared at her not expecting her also,

"Hello"she broke the silence with a smile,

"Where is Peter?" She asked,

He didn't say anything and opened the door before going back to seat on peter's bed with a black book on his hand.

There she saw the other students she had heard things about,Jennifer was also present there.

"Hey couz"Peter waved at her to come.

She smiled nervously and dug her fingers in her palm,the people there took notice of her.

"This young teacher is hot"a Mohawk brown haired boy complimented,

"You didn't come to the clinic"Jennifer spoke,

She turned to the girl and frowned,she decided to say that now.

"I'm sorry,I was busy on other things and the wound healed"she gave her a small smile.

"Would you mind joining us?"the Mohawk brown haired boy asked,they seemed to be talking and just the Mateo boy was distance.

"I'm Isaac"he introduced,

"That is Raymond,Melanie and Mateo,it seem you already know Jennifer and your cousin"he offered her a warm smile.

Aurora had come here to warn her cousin about them and yet they didn't seem bad in her eye.

The Raymond boy waved at her and the Melanie girl just threw her a glare.

"How did you manage to graduate before us youngster?"the Melanie girl asked,

The others looked with curiosity except Peter and Mateo.

"I was smarter"she gave the Melanie a small smile who immediately threw daggers from her eye.

"Very funny"Isaac laughed loving her humor.

Aurora glanced at Mateo once in a while,she didn't know how she had to leave this place.

"Let play a game"Raymond suggested happily,

"Yes,let play through the glass"replied isaac,

Everyone seemed happy with the game except Aurora who didn't know about the game.

"You don't know the game?"asked Jennifer,

"Yes"she gave a small smile,

Thinking they would play without her,

"I will teach you"Mateo said from behind and Aurora couldn't help but turn to him.

Everyone seemed flabbergasted also,not expecting Mateo's words.

"The game is simply about tossing around a bottle which gets to someone and you ask that person anything you want,it usually more of a truth to dare game but we gave it our own name"Jennifer explained warmly,the girl didn't seem bad anymore.

Everyone didn't treat her like a teacher and they were formal with her except Melanie who didn't seem to like her very much.

Isaac was the first to spin,he spin the bottle around and it ended at Melanie.

"What do you want Isaac?"the girl glared not liking that Isaac had to pick her because of his playful demeanor.

"Who do you have a crush on?"isaac asked staring at her with curious eyes,

"Everyone knows"the girl glared at him,

"Just call the person"Jennifer rolled her eyes.

"Mateo"she replied before glancing at his direction where he seemed unfazed and didn't even look her way.
