Chapter 1: The Return of Zon K

The Forgotten Name

The world had long since erased his name. The gods spoke of him only in hushed whispers, their voices laced with fear. The mortals had reduced him to nothing more than a legend, a story meant to frighten children.

Yet, there were those who still remembered.

In the farthest reaches of the Celestial Dominion, where the gods ruled over existence, the Supreme Deities gathered in their golden halls. Beings of unimaginable power, each one responsible for shaping reality itself. And yet, on this day, they felt something they had not felt in millennia.

Dread.

The High God of Light, Aetherion, stood from his radiant throne, his face pale. "Do you feel it?" he whispered, his voice laced with disbelief.

The other gods nodded. The very fabric of creation was trembling, the cosmic balance wavering. Something—someone—was returning.

A booming sound echoed through the heavens. The sky, once infinite and pure, began to crack like fragile glass. A pitch-black fissure tore through reality itself, spreading like the wound of an injured beast. From the depths of that void, an overwhelming presence surged forth.

And then… he stepped through.

The Return of the Overlord

Zon K did not make a grand entrance. He didn't need to.

No thunder roared. No flames erupted. No celestial choirs announced his arrival.

He simply was.

Clad in midnight-black robes, his silver hair flowed like liquid stardust. His eyes—golden, yet deeper than the abyss—gazed upon the gods as if they were nothing more than ants. With a mere breath, the divine palace trembled, the golden walls cracking under the sheer weight of his presence.

The gods, once mighty and untouchable, flinched.

Aetherion clenched his fists, forcing himself to stand tall. "This is impossible," he murmured. "You were erased. Your existence was wiped from the annals of time itself."

Zon K's lips curled into a smirk, one that sent a chill through even the strongest deities.

"And yet," his voice was calm, yet absolute, "here I stand."

The gods exchanged uneasy glances. None dared to move. None dared to breathe too loudly. Zon K was not a mere being of power. He was power itself.

The High God of War, Valgrion, took a step forward, gripping his colossal war-axe. "You should not exist!" he roared, his voice shaking the heavens. "Your time is over! We made sure of that!"

Zon K tilted his head slightly. His golden eyes shimmered with amusement. "Did you now?"

Without lifting a finger, without uttering a spell, he existed harder.

And in that instant, Valgrion dropped to his knees. His axe shattered into dust. His divine armor, forged from the heart of dying stars, collapsed into nothingness.

He gasped, clutching his throat, as if an unseen force was suffocating him. No, not suffocating. Forcing him to kneel.

Zon K gazed down at him, his expression unreadable. "Do you see now? No matter how much you gods pretend to rule, you are nothing but dust beneath my feet."

Valgrion tried to speak, but his voice failed him.

The other gods stood frozen, their divine auras flickering in fear. Zon K had done nothing, and yet a Supreme God had already fallen to his knees.

Aetherion forced himself to step forward. "What do you want?" he demanded, his voice barely holding steady.

Zon K took a slow step forward. Reality itself rippled around him, struggling to contain his very presence.

"To reclaim what is mine."

The heavens trembled.

The World Remembers

Far below, in the mortal realm, something awakened within the people. They did not know why, but an instinct buried deep within their souls began to scream.

Kings dropped their goblets, their hands trembling.

Warriors lost their strength, their weapons slipping from their fingers.

Scholars, priests, and prophets fell to their knees, eyes widening in terror.

Somewhere, deep in the mind of every living being, an ancient truth resurfaced.

A truth they had long since forgotten.

A name they had dared to erase.

Zon K had returned.

And this time, no force in existence could stand against him.
