THE LABORATORY

CHAPTER 3 : The Laboratory

David walked towards the laboratory where Head was working on an artificial black hole. As he entered the lab, Head looked up and saw him. A mix of emotions crossed his face, and he quickly walked towards David.

"We did it, David! We've made it!" Head exclaimed, his eyes shining with excitement. He grasped David's hand, and suddenly, the machine behind him began to malfunction. The systems in the laboratory started flashing error messages, and a computer voice repeated, "Wrong command, wrong command, error, error, error..."

But then, another computer started, and a new voice said, "Matching correct, most perfect black hole created." Head's expression changed to horror as he realized what was happening. He hugged David tightly, and from his eyes, a single tear bulged out.

"Sorry, David. Because of me, you all end up like this," Head whispered, his voice filled with regret. The next moment, the black hole began to devour Head and David.

The scene shifted to a point-of-view shot, showing the black hole consuming everything around it. The destruction was catastrophic, and the world was being torn apart.

The scene then shifted to Nicolas, who was watching the destruction from a distance. He was standing next to Head, who was now standing beside him. "Well, you are that David, but now you're in this character, 18 years old. Nicolas is the best name to call you now," Head said.

Nicolas looked at Head, and then they both watched the destruction of the world together. But this time, it was on a bigger scale, like a cinematic view.

Head starts explaining the power of the black hole to Nicolas. "If it's a normal black hole, it would take more than an hour to devour us. But this one is perfect, 200% perfect. Its mass is only the size of a ball, but its speed is incredible. I think, if we say accurately, it will be around 30,000 km/s, the speed of revolving," Head said.

Nicolas listened in awe as Head continued, "And in just one hour, all people, all of Earth will be gone. There will only be the black hole left."

Head began to explain to Nicolas the connection between the perfect black hole and the merging of parallel worlds. "When the perfect black hole was created, something extraordinary happened," Head said. "It attached two parallel worlds to each other, allowing us to shift from one world to another."

Nicolas listened intently, curious about the implications of this phenomenon. Head continued, "Think of it like this, Nicolas. You're familiar with the concept of parallel universes, where every possibility plays out in a separate reality. But what if I told you that there's a way to bridge these universes, to move between them?"

Head's expression turned serious as he began to explain the connection between the worlds. "Nicolas, do you know that the world we first lived in, where everything is normal, is actually different from the current world we're in now, which is a fantasy world?" he asked.

Nicolas listened intently, curious about the implications of this phenomenon. Head continued, "I think that's the main reason why both worlds connect. Is this world, when you came here, you saw a dream where monsters were attacking us, and a tower of the world. You thought it was all false, but you're wrong. All those things are going to happen in 2030. The dream you saw when you were a child is true."

Head's eyes sparkled with excitement as he continued, "Now, you need to understand the power you have to travel inside the book and take the skill. It's all true, but the thing is, you can only travel in one book. But don't worry, your skill is actually connected to me because the book that you can travel inside is in my hand."

Nicolas's eyes widened in surprise as he looked at Head's hand. "Where, Head? I'm not seeing it," he said, confusion etched on his face. Head started laughing, and suddenly, a book materialized in his hand. "It's here, Nicolas," he said with a smile.

Nicolas's eyes fixed on the book, and he felt a strange connection to it. Head continued, "This book contains the destiny of our world, and your skill allows you to travel inside it and you need to survive in this new reality to get a skills.

Nicolas listen Carefully Every Story grant you skill. Head turned to Nicolas and said, "I think it's time for us to take the next step."

Head's words repeatedly rounding in Nicolas's mind, "It's time for us to take the next step." As he spoke, Nicolas's eyes began to close, and he felt himself being pulled back into the real world.

At first, everything was blurry, but slowly, his vision cleared. He found himself in his bedroom, surrounded by familiar walls and furniture. But something was off. His sister, Anya, was standing over him, a playful smile on her face.

Anya gently slapped Nicolas's cheek, teasing him. "Wake up, sleepyhead!" she said, her voice filled with laughter.

Nicolas's eyes fully opened, and he sat up, rubbing his eyes. He looked at Anya, taking in her bright smile and sparkling eyes. He couldn't help but feel a sense of wonder. In his dream, he had lived an entire life, and yet, it had only been one night in the real world.

Anya placed her hand on Nicolas's forehead, concern showing on Anya face. "Do you have a fever? Why are you acting so strange?" she asked.

Nicolas shook his head, trying to remove her hand from his face slowly. "I'm fine, Anya. Just a little tired, I guess."

Anya smiled, relieved. "Okay, brother. I've made your favorite breakfast, and it's on the table. You should go freshen up and eat quickly. You don't want to be late for school."

Nicolas nodded, stillthinking so much about Anya. As Anya turned to leave, he called out to her. "Anya, wait!"

She turned back, a questioning look on her face. "What is it, Nicolas?"

"I just... I was just wondering," Nicolas said, his voice getting down slowly then Nicolas smiles.

Then Anya smiled and walked over to him. "You can tell me later, brother. Go get ready for school. I'll see you downstairs."

With that, she turned and left the room, leaving Nicolas to process his thoughts. He looked around his room, taking in the familiar surroundings. He thought about his sister, Anya, and how much he cared for her.

As he got out of bed, Nicolas couldn't help but think about his sister's strengths and weaknesses. She was a good girl, but she struggled in school. He knew he had to look out for her, especially since he was in a higher grade.

Nicolas's thoughts were interrupted by the sound of Anya calling out from downstairs. "Nicolas, hurry up! You're going to be late for school!"

He quickly got dressed his mind still reeling from the events of the previous night. As he sat down to eat his breakfast, he couldn't help but wonder what the future held for him and his sister. "Anya's voice echoing in the house, "Nicolas, hurry up! You're going to be late for school!" But this time, there was a hint of determination in her tone.

Nicolas's heart and mind borth realized what was coming next. Nicolas was always walked to school alone, avoiding the bullies who seemed to waiting for Nicolas in the hallways. He didn't want to drag his sister into that mess, didn't want her to get hurt.

But Anya had been constantly, asking him to walk with her to school. And, in a moment of weakness, he had promised her that he would start coming with her from today.

Nicolas's mind racing, he tried to think of a way out. But before he could come up with an excuse, Anya appeared in the doorway, a look of expectation on her face.

"Come on,Brother ! You promised me you'd walk with me to school from today. Let's go!" she said, her voice firm but gentle.

Nicolas sighed, knowing he couldn't get out of it. He stood up, grabbed his backpack, and followed Anya out the door.

As they walked, Nicolas couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. What would happen when they got to school? Would the bullies notice his sister? And what would they do if they did?

Nicolas glanced over at Anya, who was chatting happily beside him. He thought in past years due to boys , girls school areas are different that why she don't know what happening to his brother but at the same time

He felt a surge of protectiveness towards her. He would do whatever it took to keep her safe.

But as they stood in front of the school
