Chapter 5

Mr. Usha was very surprised to hear that. He did not expect that his friend would go so far. He was determined to go there to see that person again. Now that they were both in their twilight years, he did not know how many more springs were left, so even if he could go now, he still wanted to make another trip in person.

Viktor Romano was full of anxiety and restlessness, the road was both long and dangerous, with many mountain passes, rivers, and streams. But no matter how he was advised, Mr. Usha still insisted on going.

"This time, I have to go."

---

On a chilly late autumn morning, the Romano family woke up very early, their faces full of anxiety. The space was spacious but the air was naturally heavy, no one said anything.

Usha held a wooden stick carved with a dragon, shiny brown, wearing a gray-white suit, wearing a pair of leather shoes, and looking quite handsome. But his face was brighter than usual.

Cayle came down from upstairs. Today he was wearing blue jeans and a white T-shirt, wearing a thin black vest outside but still very handsome.

Viktor approached and pulled his son to a corner, his face was full of worry and sadness, and his eyes were dark and crazy, probably because he hadn't slept all night, he carefully instructed:

"Your grandfather has found out where Dawson Brown is and wants to see him. I advised him but he still insisted on going. Today, I'm busy with a meeting with a partner, your brother is preparing for the launch of the love watch project, and if Dominic goes, I'll be even more worried, so please arrange your work to accompany your grandfather on this trip."

Cayle smiled and replied, "Yes, don't worry, I will take care of Grandpa."

Viktor nodded, and patted his son's shoulder, "Be careful on the road."

Waving goodbye, the car left immediately after.

The road was long and dangerous. Leaving the city, the road became difficult as it continuously went up and down the slopes, winding and twisting. On both sides of the road were rows of green trees, towering passes, and rugged mountains that made people shiver just by looking at them. The border was quite long, it took a long time to cross.

Arriving at city B, the scenery became bustling, the distance between the two beautiful cities was a deserted road, rugged mountains, and deserted scenery but still retained the simple beauty of ancient times.

Grandfather turned to ask his grandson, "Cayle, how do you feel?"

Cayle smiled happily, his heart filled with joy: "City B is quite beautiful. It's just that on the way there are mountains, passes, and deserted roads, a bit scary but very peaceful."

The grandfather looked at his grandson's face and smiled:

"You were born in the city, and didn't go to the mountains much, it's not strange to feel that way. But an old man like me, when I was young, I went everywhere, I didn't feel strange. I just miss my youth."

Cayle asked curiously: "Why did Uncle Dawson have to move to this remote place when he was still in the city?"

Mr. Usha pondered for a long time before saying, "If I remember correctly, City B is his hometown."

When people get old, they want to return to their hometown where they were born. Young people are enthusiastic and want to travel everywhere, so they wander everywhere. But when they get old, they just want the word "peace", and want to return to the starting point. It's like the cycle of time.

When they arrived at City B, it was already dark. Everything gradually faded and gradually sank into darkness. The electric lights were bright, and every house and street was lit up. The streets became splendid and luxurious. People were bustling back and forth.

The three- or four-lane highway was spacious, and the wind was blowing strongly. Looking a little further, you would see faint rays of light appearing and disappearing, looking like twinkling stars in the sky. Like a miniature sky right on the ground.

After hours of walking, the grandfather and grandson were exhausted, Cayle said, "We're quite tired after walking for hours. Let's find a place to stop and eat and rest. We'll continue searching tomorrow, Grandpa."

The grandfather nodded in agreement, "Okay, let's find a nearby restaurant to stop and eat."

8:00 pm at the restaurant. Cayle helped his grandfather enter, and a petite, pretty girl came over and asked.

"Hello, sir. Please sit down."

Cayle looked at her without taking his eyes off her, her big round eyes and charming smile seemed to have captivated him. He shyly said, "I... I... would like to order."

The waitress was Rosabella. Such was fate. The person they were looking for was always right in front of them, but they didn't recognize each other.

Cayle's heart suddenly started pounding, his hands and feet were shaking slightly, and his eyes were fixed on the beautiful girl. Was this love at first sight like the love stories often said?

Rosabella immediately picked up the menu beside her, gently placed it on the table, placed her hand on her chest, leaned over slightly, and politely asked: "What would you like to eat?"

Cayle carefully flipped through the pages, his eyes darting back and forth, then pointed at the dishes he ordered: "Please give me steak, mixed salad, crab soup, and two servings of grapes for dessert."

She bowed her head slightly and instructed the customer before leaving: "Yes, please wait a moment."

Rosabella walked into the kitchen, each step was hurried and graceful. She looked quite tired, the corners of her eyes were sunken, and her eyes were dark, but her mouth was still smiling brightly and optimistically.

She held four plates in her hand, walked towards the table where her grandfather and grandson were sitting, gently put down each plate, and bowed her head: "Enjoy your meal."

Mr. Usha spoke up: "Granddaughter, can I have a glass of water?"

She immediately brought a glass of water, carefully placed it on the table, and bowed slightly: "Here, sir."

"Thank you."
