After the entire ordeal, David and his entire family returned marquis's mansion where they decide to take rest, however, everything is different now, after taking some rest, the entire royal family and marquis family as well as sage Edward who decides to stay in Evangeline marquisdom, a little more, decides to gather in living room, everyone including David arrived there. David noticed that everything was different now, his father, mother, marquis, Alyssa and Delsin (who arrived at mansion after the entire ordeal), looking at expression of curiousity but also gratitude, not to mension David's parents were clearly proud of his son but they are also curious why he hid his worth, Delsin and Alyssa seem to be very interested in David, and want to know about a magicless like him became a powerful magician, Johnatan, was indebted towards David for rescuing his daughter, but he was also upset that David and Alyssa have huge age gap, otherwise, he would hand over his daughter to David as his reward. The twins Gilbert and Albert, however, seems to be afraid of David, as they witnessed him using his magic against Ba'al, Ba'al may be a cowardy demon king, but he is powerful enough to overpower the mages weaker than sages, even Thomas, a sage's disciple couldn't win against the demon, while David defeated him with few moves, because of this, the twins were afraid of him believing that he might take revenge on them for all the prank they played on David, Maximilliam, however, is very happy, because David turned out to be the very worthy opponent he was looking for, but he also felt guilty for not understanding David, who turned out to be a sleeping lion and not a lazy fellow, his brothers James and Henry are wondering about David's true nature and what caused him to hide such strange, as they are sure that David is already in Sage level, surpassing Thomas, Elizabeth had a bitter expression due to his jealousy towards empress, she always disliked the fact that she had a son who is a born genius who is also trained to be both the next emperor as well as a sage, because of this she use his the empress worry and concern for her other son who was born magicless to make fun of empress through gossips but now the very other son, turn out to be a bigger deal, which make her even more jealous of empress as she now has 2 geniuses as her son. Amelia seems to have sad expression on her face, she always trash talked about David behind his back, calling him a burden to empress, the person Amelia admired, but now it is clear that David is not a burden and was hiding his talents for some reason, she also feared that if David were to know about the truth, that she the one who spread rumors about him, he might take revenge perhaps her children might also become his target. William have hs opinion about David is now changed, but wondered why he hid his power as with his level of power, one can become a valuable asset to the empire. Thomas although appear calm on surface he was boiling with rage, he always thought of himself as superior than all of his siblings, a perfect man in every angle, which fill him with pride and he deveeloped a strong ego, but now his pride and ego is completely shattered, because David whom he considered his polar opposite as useless prince as well as the bastard who stole all of his parent's affection proved to be much stronger than him, perhaps he is already a sage now, thus, ruining his dream to become the youngest sage in the history. "Okay David, tell me, why you hide your strength, I mean isn't it the good thing that you can use the magic now", emperor Heinz asked, "I just wanted to keep my power secret until I become strong enough", David replied, "Why hide?, Is there something special about your powers?", Alyssa said, "Because my power utilizes the law of nature, it is a magic that is completely different from others, besides, since it's a magic anyone who aren't the born mage or priest can learn, all they have to do is to meditate to fuse with law of nature itself, by consuming the natural energy, of course, the person compatibility, also determines the speed of becoming a mage, once they become mages, their body generate mana, a proof of one becoming a true mage", David explained it to them, "What is meditation?, Is that some kind of ritual?", Delsin asked curiously, "No, it's just a mortal exercise which just happened to a key for becoming mages", David replied, "But isn't magic and natural oppose each other?", William questioned, "Because my magic is somewhat different, the magic I used utilised the law of nature, it more scientific version of supernatural powers, I call it 'white magic' while I reffer old magic which defy natural law as 'black magic', furthermore, I refer the practitioner of these to magic as 'white mage' and 'black mage'", David replied, hearing this Alyssa understood what David meant by black magic and white magic, "Does other know this magic?", emperor asked, "Yes, I taught this to my personal maid and the other sevent who are by my side, afterall all of them were former non-mages", David replied, "Is there any other difference that our black magic and your white possess?" empress asked, "Well aside from the fact that black magic is something one is born with it and it defy the law of nature while the white magic is something one can acquire through becoming one with the law of nature and the magic will follow and reinforce the law of nature, there are many other differences", David explains, "What differences?", emperor asked, "Black magic's strength is determined by it's user's spiritual power and willpower, spiritual power can increase through constant use and practice of black magic while willpower increases through strong desire to break the natural law, on other hand white magic's strength is determined by user's mental strength and intelligence, both of which could be strengthened through understanding the law of nature and how to utilize it to get advantage", David told them, "Well, you did said mention that white magic is scientific in nature", sage said, "But why you didn't tell this secret to other, I mean everyone could use magic in this way", m arquis said, "That's because just like technology created and use by nornal people, white magic which I invented is still in development, beside there is other reason", David said, everyone including Elizabeth and Thomas who has completely forgot their anger listened carefully, "As already despite the attempts of various like minded mages and magic nobles, there are still some mages who looked down on normal people, not to mention there are radical groups as well, if they learn about the existence of white magic and it's practitioner, they will try to eliminate it, in order to prevent the people whom they consider inferior to gain power, besides the old mages believe their goal to break law of nature which think of nothing more than a shackles binding a mage, the existance of white magic which utilize the that very law of nature is like a heretical", David told everyone, the entire room become silent, everyone understood why David hid this new magic, afterall the practitioner of the old magic will not allow this new power that will turn normal people into mages to exist, no to mention the radical group and evil mages will be after David's life to erase the white magic, once and for all, those who learnt this magic from David will also meet the same fate, sage Edward who was lost in his thought knew that any existance, be it power, person or truth cannot be hidden forever, he also start thinking about to protect David and the new magic he brought. In the end, decides to gather the sages and the meeting about how to solve this problem.
