Adapting

It was morning already, maids and servants could be seen moving about doing their daily chores , Ebby ' who just happen to be coming out of her room was literally lost while trying to locate the main kitchen which she was assigned to bring the boss's breakfast.

After the Mafia boss left yesterday, she was given a room in the first floor that was just one door away from Steven 's room and she was asked to stay in thesame floor as him since she was his suppose personal maid , tho she didn't like the idea of staying so close to that devil, she also didn't have a choice. Just few minutes inside the room she heard noises from outside her door and she softly opened her door only to see a young beautiful girl who she was certain was a year or twice older than her , rushing out of the Mafia boss room and she thought ' ohh good he is also a Casanova, that's just great ", and then she went back inside her room which was too beautiful by the way for a maid, she was way too tired to admire the room so she just laid on the bed and slept off.

Back to the present, " how am I suppose to locate the kitchen which I haven't seen before, that green eye should have showed me instead! Ebby's thought standing with no idea on how to go to the kitchen, she was still thinking when she heard " And what the hell are you doing daydreaming you fool?" Ebby turned and saw a lady that should been in her mid 30's " ahm ma, I was asked to bring the master's breakfast but i don't know how to get to the kitchen. The lady looked at her and asked" are you the new maid that was brought in yesterday?

"Yes I am " ebby answered politely, " the lady just said " come with me the master must be waiting for his food!

Ebby just followed quietly behind her ,and as they walked close to practical place where huge opened door could be seen , they heard noises but as soon as they step into the place which by now was obvious to be the kitchen, everywhere became suddenly quiet and chefs and maid who was once chatting became utterly tense and they all greeted " Goodmorning Mrs Lucy!!" And the lady beside her who she now know as Mrs Lucy said" is this the place for your silly gossips? You all must be less busy i think!! " We are really sorry Mrs Lucy ", they all said .

Prepare the master's breakfast, she (pointed at ebby) is here to take them. Ebby saw the stares they throw her way but she ignored them and when she has taken the breakfast she came for ,she left there immediately;

Ebby went into the dinning room and was setting the food on the table when Steven walks in and sat on his chair, trying so hard not to make eye contact with ebby , he didn't want to stir up his emotions anymore,so he said" if you are done , then leave" ..

"Yes master" ebby answered politely when she was done and she was about leaving, when she mistakenly slipped and fell on the floor , immediately Steven rushed to her with a panic on his face saying " you should be careful " as he tried to help her up but ebby hissed in pain , then he knew she has sprained her ankle. Without much thought, he carefully carried her princess style out of the dinning room leaving ebby in utter shock and lost for words " ahm master please put me down , what are you doing!? She asked but Steven just looked at her and kept on walking....
