Jade

At first, looking at the clouds, there is no difference between them.

Fortunately, Lingshe had a god's view and also received feedback when looking at every place from the treasure. I

Inside the clouds, there was a small separate space. She entered it with her conscious and saw only two items inside. A small note and a large platform, around five metres in diameter.

The note read "To the descendants of my Blue Star Yu Clan. This is the last remaining spiritual inheritance for our future generations. The first inheritance, the Jade Origin Crown, was bestowed by the upper clan for our meritorious service of many years.

This treasure, the Myriad Treasure Blessed Land, was crafted by a great expert as our gift to the next generation. The spiritual power has started to degenerate, when this treasure surfaces, it means the spiritual power is regenerating once again.

Finally, there is the Jade Book of Blessings. It's a work compiled by our branch, the secret treasure of our branch that has grown for many years. The three immortal chants were bestowed by the Yu Clan members who ascended to the immortal world. The three spiritual chants were created by three enlightened cultivators of our clan who had given up their life to finish its creation.

The last three mortal chants haven't been created yet. When this treasure lands in the hands of our future generations, it might have been completed. They will only be able to fully create such chants once there is no spiritual power between heaven and earth – which is the peak of the spiritual degeneration and the start of the regeneration.

These three inheritances compile a foundation for a new establishment of the clan. We hope that Blue Star regains its glory and becomes the home world of our Yu Clan once again. There are other clans who hope to do the same… take the initiative and rise in the circumstances! Don't supress but don't give up the control either.

Finally, although the spiritual power regenerates, in case this inheritance is found too early, we leave the last Ascension Platform of our clan here. With this, as long as the spiritual power reaches a level transcended of the world's capabilities, it will be possible to ascend to the nearest world with fitting capabilities.

If that is the case, then leave behind a foundation for the clan to follow. May the Yu Clan prosper forever, may the Jade nourish forever, may heaven and earth witness our greatness!"

Lingshe's eyes flickered as she read this. The first part explained the origin of the inheritances "No wonder… these inheritances are so strong, nothing in the middle world can even approach this level. Now it seems that these were mainly created by immortals or those who reached enlightenment, which is no worse than the power of immortals.

It seems… in the original book, this wasn't mentioned at all. The inheritance was lost in time because of internal troubles and external pressure. Even if the Yu Lingshe in the book finally realised the matters of the inheritance, it's likely she kept it hidden, only slightly mentioning that she had a great opportunity.

After all, sub-space items aren't particular rare in the upper world, which means that there should be a few in the middle world. These should be in the hands of top-forces. So although the treasure is extremely rare, Lingshe herself at that time wasn't weak. People wouldn't be so greedy as to still take the risk to steal that.

The book only mentioned that the second male lead saw Lingshe's opportunity and told the Female Lead about this. It didn't go into detail of how this opportunity was revealed, but it was generally assumed that Lingshe was betrayed by the second male lead.

All the shipping readers also thought that Lingshe wasn't worthy of the second male lead, who was the reader's favourite. All in all, it seems now that the author intentionally intensified the opportunity and undermined the severity of Lingshe losing this 'opportunity'.

Now that I am actually in this world and know things better… it seems even more disgusting than when I read the book. Just to get this small opportunity of having a sub-space… something that was obtainable in the middle world as long as one put in a bit of effort… just for this little thing, a whole clan heritage of millions of years was destroyed."

She felt anger in her heart rising more and more. Initially, she only dislike towards the female lead and the second male lead. After all, these things hadn't happened yet. She also felt that Lingshe in the story wasn't good at communicating, so things were misunderstood, a cliché that couldn't be more annoying in her opinion.

Now, she truly felt the emotions of her other self and more. She lost her mother, grandpa and finally her father killed himself to give her this inheritance. When she travelled to a different world, she didn't have any close disciples, one of the two that came with her was a tyrannical and disgusting person, the other was a little girl who knew nothing.

If one took in all the mobs that were also taken in, those who had lesser qualifications, with most of them not even reaching the foundation building stage, then it would only make her seem worse.

After many years of farming day and night, using spells until her spiritual sea was exhausted, working hard to earn spiritual stones everywhere, fighting for opportunities and nearing death many times, she barely reached a higher stage of cultivation. Then, when life just started to become better, she was stabbed in the back by someone she had given her heart to.

This wasn't enough. Her clan heritage which was once glorious in the past ended in her hands.

As someone who truly grew up in the Yu Clan, who knew the many difficulties the clan faced over the many years in the past, she couldn't accept this reality.

"Why? Why? Our clan remained for so long, ascended to the upper world, we even have a greater clan above who supported us… how can a clan that was destined to grow into prosperity end up being destroyed in my hands?" she nearly went mad thinking of this.

For a person in the ancient times, there are three priorities. First, their family. Second, their clan. Third, themselves. She lost her family early on, her clan midway through and herself at the end. In the memories of her, what remained of her?

Right at this moment, when many evil feelings gathered in her heart, she cultivation surged. The spiritual power all around that was nearly as solid as jade gathered into her dantian outside while her soul and conscious that remained in the box grew abnormally.

She had a strong tendency to mutate – this was the tribulation of the mind!

Usually, this isn't something a little qi-refining cultivator can experience.

Her soul fluctuated in the little space, the human soul was the weakest of all three souls, it could be influenced by the seven spirits at will, becoming a slave to her emotions.

As more and more spiritual power gathered in her body, her cultivation rose rapidly, while dark spots started gathering in her soul.

She couldn't understand – a question in her mind repeated like a broken record "What did I do to deserve this?" just from the fact she was a member of the Jade… her abilities were nourishing, her mind was pure and her wisdom helped the world. Even after all the hardship that happened, she was ready to give her heart to someone who wasn't worthy of her –

Right then, she screamed aloud, "HOW DARE THEY!" her body instantly broke through several hurdles and advanced rapidly, her mind that was about to be polluted instead became extremely dark green, a pure but evil and deadly jade colour.

The scream spread, from her room to the courtyard and then to the whole family. Even outside, some extremely strong people could feel a great danger from this place.

Her conscious in the blessed land was cut off, then it absorbed the myriad jade spiritual power. The process was extremely painful. Her soul was split into two – the one that remained her body only had the function of exercising the commands of the primary soul that wandered in the blessed land.

Gradually, this evil spirit became purer and purer and gained a solid form. From dark green jade it became fully black, a jade colour that wasn't anywhere in the blessed land.

In the form of a crystallised black snake with white eyes, it wandered throughout the whole blessed land, consuming spiritual power from every kind of jade, then finally left the blessed land and rose into the sky.

It ignored everything around it, others could only feel a certain pure and strong evil spirit that could kill them with just one look.

The evil snake spirit looked into the sky and hissed. Characters formed with every hiss in the sky, pure black, finally forming "Death to those who oppose the Jade!"

Thunder stroke in the sky, seemingly celebrating this change. Below the snake, earth rose and a huge abyssal vortex formed. Spiritual power came from the depths of the vortex, nourishing the power that formed. Not to be outdone, spiritual rain fell from the sky, shining brightly.

For those far away, it seemed as if a storm was brewing around the Yu Clan territory while earthquakes spread. No one understood what was happening, natural disasters seemed to permeate but no damage was caused. Instead, the cracks in the ground rose up and forming new natural phenomena, rain fell and nourished all life, creatures that were unintelligent awakened their wisdom and impure things were all purified, one way or another.

These things were all for later… now, the top powers were thinking the Yu Clan that had hidden itself for so long would start its rise again… no one understood the severity of the matter at hand.
