Chapter 16: The Unknown Challenger

Jihan stood over Minsu's unconscious body, his breathing steady despite the brutal fight. The school's hierarchy had been shattered, and he now stood at the top.

But then, the system sent a chilling notification.

WARNING: A New Threat Has Been Detected.

Jihan's eyes narrowed. He had conquered the Kings, yet the system wasn't calling this the end. That meant something—or someone—else was waiting.

Dojin approached, grinning. "You actually did it. The school is yours."

Jihan exhaled, still staring at his notification. "Maybe."

Dojin frowned. "What's wrong?"

Before Jihan could answer, the warehouse doors creaked open. The crowd, still celebrating, turned silent as a lone figure stepped inside.

A tall, lean young man with piercing silver eyes and an unsettling calm aura walked forward. He wasn't part of any gang, nor had Jihan ever seen him before.

The crowd instinctively moved out of his way.

Jihan felt it immediately—a presence stronger than Minsu's.

The stranger stopped a few meters away, hands in his pockets, his gaze locked onto Jihan.

"You're the new King?" he asked casually.

Jihan didn't answer. Instead, he scanned him carefully. Who is this guy?

The stranger chuckled. "No need to be on guard. I just wanted to see if you were worth my time."

Dojin clenched his fists. "Who the hell are you?"

The stranger smirked. "Kwon Seojin."

The name sent a wave of murmurs through the crowd. Even Dojin's expression changed. "Wait… that Seojin? The one who disappeared last year?"

Jihan's mind worked fast. He had heard the rumors—a monster who dominated the school before mysteriously vanishing. No one knew why he left, but if he was back now…

Seojin's smirk widened as he saw Jihan's realization. "Good. You've heard of me."

Jihan stayed silent, his muscles tensed.

Seojin cracked his knuckles. "I came back because I heard some nobody was taking over my throne." His silver eyes glowed with challenge. "So, tell me, Jihan Kang… Do you want to rule this school?"

Jihan met his gaze, unfazed. "I already do."

Seojin chuckled. "Wrong answer."

Without warning, he moved.

Faster than anything Jihan had ever seen.

A fist flew toward Jihan's face. Instincts screamed.

Jihan barely dodged, but the shockwave of the punch cracked the concrete behind him.

Seojin didn't stop. He was already on Jihan again.

Mission Activated: The Forgotten Tyrant

Objective: Survive.

Jihan clenched his fists. So this is my next opponent…?

He smirked, blood trickling down his lip.

Interesting.
