Chapter 10

Mr. Harrington still hadn't divorced Scarlett.

One day, he looked at my photograph and said to Scarlett,

"You know, she's already dead."

Hearing this, Scarlett's face turned pale.

"The medical report you used to deceive me back then was actually hers."

Upon hearing this, Scarlett's legs went weak.

She never expected everything to be such a coincidence and wore an expression of disbelief.

"Maybe she's lying to you. She might not even be dead!"

She tried to argue, but was struck in the head by a water glass thrown by Mr. Harrington.

"Shut up!"

Looking at Scarlett's face, Mr. Harrington seemed to have an idea.

He placed my photograph in front of Scarlett.

"Since you want her position so badly, I'll grant your wish."

I watched Mr. Harrington in this crazed state, never imagining he could become like this.

Scarlett was sent to the operating table by Mr. Harrington.

"As long as you behave, I'll love you just like before."At first, Scarlett didn't understand what this meant.
