Real Mother!

Once I enter my room, I lock the door behind me. Tears well up in my eyes.

"No… no, I don't want to cry. I don't want to be weak in a world full of selfish people who judge me based on nothing but my background… No, I won't cry."

I force myself to calm down, taking shaky breaths. Slowly, I sit on my bed, my hands clenching the sheets.

"Why do my parents never understand me? They guide me, yes—but only when it comes to studying. Sometimes, it feels like the entire world revolves around education. Like the earth itself is bound by it. But what about me? What can I do? I'm worthless… a failure… talentless. All the negative comments, all the judgment—I deserve them, don't I?"

A bitter chuckle escapes me, but it quickly fades.

"I can't help myself. I can't be worth anything. I can't make my parents proud. No… no, I'm just a terrible son. I'm sorry… but maybe I don't even deserve forgiveness."

Exhaustion weighs me down. Slowly, I let myself fall onto the bed. I close my tear-filled eyes, hoping that sleep will bring even the smallest moment of peace—even if it's only temporary.

For a while, I sleep peacefully. But then—whispers.

"You've never been worth anything."

"You're weak."

"A failure."

"Failure."

"Failure!"

The voices echo endlessly, pounding against my mind. I twitch, trying to resist.

"No!"

My eyes snap open. But instead of my room, I find myself lying in an endless, dark void. My breath quickens as I push myself up.

"Where… am I?" I mutter, confusion settling in. "Am I still dreaming?"

Before I can make sense of anything, a glowing, blue square box appears in front of me, floating in midair.

"You have a call from another world!"

"Would you like to accept it?"

"NOTE: If you accept, you will be summoned to a world of adventure and fantasy—but also one filled with danger."

I stare at the glowing text, my heart racing. It looks just like something out of a game or anime.

"Adventure… fantasy… another world?" I whisper in surprise. But deep inside, something stirs—excitement.

Without hesitation, I step forward. "YES!!"

I don't care about this world anymore. I don't care about the expectations, the judgments, the endless cycle of failure. If there's a chance for something new—something more—I'll take it.

The system processes my response. A progress bar appears, refreshing.

"You will be summoned soon, Kelvin."

And just like that, the system disappears, leaving me alone in the vast, empty void.

I exhale, my lips curling into a smirk. "So, I'm really doing this, huh?" I chuckle, the thrill of the unknown coursing through me.

But before I can dwell on it, everything around me shifts.

The dark void vanishes—replaced by pure white light. The air feels soft, and small, wispy clouds float around me like I've stepped into heaven itself.

"What's happening here?" I murmured, looking around in confusion.

Suddenly, a gentle yet powerful voice echoed through the divine space.

"So, you have decided to leave… to journey into another world without hesitation?"

I turned swiftly, caught off guard by the voice. Before me stood a radiant, towering figure—a being of pure, glowing light, at least 6'4" tall.

"Who are you?" I asked, my voice laced with both awe and curiosity.

"I am Gaia, the Primordial Goddess of Greek mythology. The Mother of All Existence. The Earth itself. And you, Kelvin, have now entered my realm," she spoke with a calm, motherly tone.

"Mother…?" My eyes widened in shock.

Gaia nodded. "Yes. I am your first and true mother. I have always watched over you, Kelvin. I have seen your struggles, your lack of interest in studies, and how the world judges you unfairly based on your background. Tell me, am I wrong?"

I clenched my fists slightly. "No… I mean, yes, it's true. I never felt any passion for studying, yet my parents kept forcing it on me. No matter what else I wanted to do, they never supported it."

Gaia closed her eyes briefly, as if confirming something. "I see… And that is why, when given the choice, you accepted the offer to leave your world without hesitation."

Before I could reply, her voice became slightly serious.

"However, I must warn you… By leaving this realm and stepping into another, you will be erased from your world. Everyone who has ever known you—your friends, your family, your parents… will forget that you ever existed."

I froze on the spot.

"Forget me…?" My voice trembled. "Even… my parents?"

Gaia's expression remained gentle yet firm. "Everyone, Kelvin. All bonds you formed will be erased. That is the price of crossing realms. So, I ask again… are you certain you wish to leave?"

A heavy silence filled the air.

The pain of being forgotten pressed against my heart. Yet, despite that… a deeper part of me—a part that longed for something greater—was ready to sacrifice everything for this chance.

"…Yes," I finally said, my voice steady but my heart aching. "I'm willing to be forgotten… I will go to another world."

Gaia observed me closely, her celestial presence unwavering.

"No matter how much you try to suppress your emotions, Kelvin, I can see into your very soul. But if this is truly your choice… then remember, the world you enter is not just filled with adventure and fantasy. It is also filled with danger and threats."

"I understand, Mother," I said firmly.

Gaia nodded. "Then… as your mother, I shall bless you with power. These abilities will help you survive—but it is up to you to grow and strengthen them."

A warm, soothing energy surrounded me as I felt my body becoming stronger—like my very existence was evolving.

"But remember, Kelvin…" Gaia continued, her voice filled with an infinite sense of love and protection. "Even though you are leaving Earth, it does not mean I will stop watching over you. I am the Mother of All Beings. No matter where you go, I will always be with you."

A small smile formed on my lips. "Thank you, Mother… Just knowing that makes me feel secure enough to move forward."

Gaia gently placed her hand over my head. "Never hesitate to ask for help. Your mother will always be here, Kelvin."

Suddenly, my body began glowing, its form slowly fading.

"For now… farewell, my child. Enjoy your new life, and I promise—you will never be bored again."

"Mother…" I whispered, my vision turning white as I vanished from Gaia's realm.
