HxH: Threads of Providence

Hi guys! Just wanted to leave this here, as I know a lot of people enjoy having a reference of the character to form in their minds while reading (as I do.) However, I did make the character look that way for a specific reason, but I don't want to reveal too much right now, or give too many of my secrets away! I'm enjoying writing this, but I'd love for y'all to reach out with any suggestions or comments you have, I'm always open to hearing them. I have a lot of considerations in mind for what I want to do with this story, but it's still very susceptible to changes, at least at specific points that I don't already have planned out. Anyways, down below are images of Kaien, the main character, as a kid, and later, in his prime as an adult Hunter.

He's around 6 or 7 in this image, undetermined as his age isn't fully clear due to him being from an unknown origin, with his earliest memory being washed ashore in a woven basket. His age will be cleared up later down the line, no need to worry.

This is my first fan fiction on WebNovel, or more honestly my first piece of writing that I've put out in the public. I have a lot mapped out, like his abilities, his encounters, his heritage, the major events that will take place, the themes, and a lot more, so I'm excited to get it all out. Please let me know what you guys think, as it is my first time, and I'm generally new to the whole process.
