Reborn from Earth into the magical world as Elias Blackthorn, the sole heir of the ancient and noble Blackthorn family, the protagonist enters the wizarding world not as a lost child, but as a determined visionary. With full knowledge of the Harry Potter storyline and the world's impending chaos, Elias has only one goal—to grow powerful enough to control his own fate in a world ruled by prophecy, bloodlines, and hidden wars.
Unlike those who follow fate blindly, Elias chooses to walk the line between shadow and tradition. Supported by a powerful family that rivals the Malfoys in influence, Elias begins his journey at Hogwarts alongside Harry Potter's generation. But he is no ally of the protagonist group. He neither seeks friendship with them nor wishes to oppose them. Instead, Elias focuses entirely on strength, magical mastery, and strategic preparation.
Elias does not chase fame or recognition. He avoids open conflict, keeps a low profile, and even refrains from interfering in major canonical events—unless his plans demand it. While others focus on glory, Elias builds foundations for something far greater: a future where he is untouchable, free of the control of Dumbledore, the Ministry, or even fate itself.
But power always draws attention.
As the years unfold at Hogwarts, Elias quietly gathers influence, earns loyal followers, and begins a slow dance around key players in the magical world—including Death Eaters, Ministry officials, and Hogwarts Professors. Love, too, finds its way into his cold, calculating heart—but even that becomes part of his carefully balanced life.
By the time the war between Harry Potter and Voldemort truly ignites, Elias Blackthorn is no longer just another student. He is an independent force, armed with knowledge, strength, and a will of steel. He is neither hero nor villain—only a man determined to reshape his destiny in a world where so many are ruled by others.
And as the secrets of the magical world begin to unravel, Elias prepares not to change the future… but to rise above it.
good plot, mc plans everything carefully before everything he does and please add some love btw mc and daphe grrengrass and write more chapters thank you
good story , as mc mind his business and is increasing power secretly, can u tell is it a single female lead or multiple female will be mc partner.
The story is set in a world where the mc is born in a family which is basically ‘best at everything’(not my words). The mc ‘acts’ like an adult politician and the first few chapters are all about gaining power and all that. If you like monologues and OP character, go right ahead. Personally I prefer the story to be more based in realism but that’s just me. TLDR : 3.5/5 might read if you like monologues
why i gave 5 star cause for me I always wanted a Harry potter novel where the mc doesn't revolve around the golden trio where the mc actually explores and shows the magical world outside of hogwarts certain interactions are weird but the story makes up for it by showing a new Harry potter experience with just a lil actual Harry potter in it
i had high hopes after the synopsis but all came crashing down. ai influence is quite heavy and the character also just feels quite bland. i mean i would like it if he wasnt an emo boy who just wants power for no reason and even reading one ch can tell that no pr is done just input and output. so no thx
I’ve read up to Chapter 10, and honestly, the story feels like it was written by an AI rather than a human. The character development is very shallow—most of it is explained in just a few lines instead of allowing us, the readers, to experience it naturally through the story. The pacing of the main character is all over the place. One moment he’s doing or saying something, and the next, the perspective abruptly shifts without any smooth transition. The author keeps emphasizing that the MC wants power in every chapter. I understand he’s driven by a desire for power, but constantly forcing that idea feels unnecessary. It would be more impactful if we were shown his ambition through his actions and decisions instead of being told repeatedly. Other characters either express emotions that are overly extreme or barely show any at all. Most importantly, the MC's emotions are inconsistent—sometimes changing from one line to the next. For example, he sees a professor and immediately thinks he’s dangerous, then in the very next moment finds him amusing. His parents also come across as robotic and monotonous. That said, I believe this novel has a lot of potential. Please take the time to think through every interaction and scenario with more detail. Try to minimize the overuse of AI-like writing and focus more on depth, flow, and emotional consistency.
Plz don’t add romance, harem, family bond etc
Decent but fails some of the character description on OC characters which really annoys me personally other than that he has done a good job so far worth giving a shit about
