Chapter 4: Extracton on boar

Vale stood amid the ashes of the boar, his breath steady, his focus unwavering. The Morian Sword Art: Inferno Ascendant still hummed with energy, its fire flickering faintly around his sword, as though still eager for action. His eyes swept the scorched ground, scanning for anything of value.

The massive beast had been obliterated in one swift strike, reduced to little more than ashes and charred remnants. Yet, Vale's mind was already moving forward. The boar was dead, but its essence remained. Its body, its strength, all of it could be useful. Vale knew better than to leave anything behind that could be extracted for his benefit.

His hand tightened around the Flameborn Blade, now pulsing with energy. But he was not done. Vale dropped the sword to the ground, his eyes locking onto the remains of the boar. There was something inside it—a latent power that could be extracted.

Vale activated his Infinite Extraction ability. His mind focused on the boar's essence, reaching out mentally to pull its strength from its remains.

Extraction Successful!

• Extracted: 4 Strength from the Wild Boar.

• Your Strength has increased by 4.

A surge of energy flooded Vale's body. The moment the power from the boar was absorbed, he felt his muscles tighten, his form growing more refined. The boost was immediate, and the strength coursing through his veins made him feel like a new person. His mind sharpened as he considered the value of the boar's strength. It wasn't just raw muscle—there was resilience in the boar's power, the primal force that had allowed it to survive.

Vale could feel his physical abilities enhanced by the extraction. He knew that this was only the beginning. The Dao of Fire was a powerful ally, and with his Morian Sword Art and Suprime Sublimation, he was more than ready to face the world. But power alone wasn't enough—he would need to test it, push it to its limits.

Vale turned his attention to the Flameborn Blade once more, his focus shifting. He had already used Suprime Sublimation to refine the sword to epic grade, but now he felt the need to test the blade again—fully aware of the growing power inside him.

He gripped the sword tightly, and a wave of heat radiated from it. The flames, infused with his will, responded instantly, crackling and swirling around the blade like an ancient force awakening. Vale could feel it now—the sword and the fire were one. Together, they were unstoppable.

With a steady breath, Vale focused on his surroundings. The area was quiet, save for the distant rustling of leaves and the occasional call of a bird. But Vale knew better than to be complacent. He had already fought a boar, but there were more challenges ahead. His journey was only beginning, and the world was full of creatures and players who would test his strength.

Vale stepped forward, eyes narrowed. He could feel the sword's power pulsing in time with his heartbeat. With each step, his confidence grew.

A loud rustle of leaves broke the silence. Vale's hand instinctively went to the hilt of his sword. His senses sharpened.

A pack of wolves emerged from the underbrush, their eyes glowing with predatory hunger. There were five of them, each larger than any wolf Vale had seen back on Earth. Their fangs gleamed, their bodies rippling with muscle, and their movements were precise. They weren't the mindless creatures he had faced before. These were intelligent, coordinated, and ready to strike.

Vale smiled.

"Let's see how strong I really am," he muttered to himself.

The wolves circled, watching Vale carefully, their eyes calculating. But Vale was faster. In a blur of motion, he drew his Flameborn Blade and swung it in a horizontal arc. The sword cut through the air with a fiery roar, a wave of flames trailing behind it as it sliced through the nearest wolf's body. The beast yelped, its fur catching fire as it collapsed to the ground in a heap of ashes.

Vale didn't stop. He was already moving before the wolf's body hit the ground, his sword a blur of fire and steel. Another wolf lunged at him, but Vale sidestepped with effortless grace, swinging his blade upwards. The wolf's head flew from its body, and the remaining wolves hesitated, momentarily stunned by the swift death of their companions.

But Vale wasn't done. He advanced, his eyes locked on the remaining wolves. With a swift, decisive strike, he cleaved through the next two in quick succession, the Flameborn Blade cutting through their flesh like butter. The last wolf, the largest and most aggressive, snarled and lunged at him, its teeth bared.

Vale didn't even flinch. He raised his sword high and brought it down in a crushing overhead strike. The wolf attempted to dodge, but the flames from the sword surrounded it, cutting off any chance of escape. The wolf was caught in the fiery arc, and in a flash, it was consumed by the flames.

The battle ended as quickly as it began. Vale stood amidst the smoldering remains of the wolves, his body calm, his mind clear. He could feel the power of the Flameborn Blade still coursing through him, its flames flickering as though it had a life of its own.

A glowing message appeared in front of him.

Vale nodded, his thoughts already moving ahead. His level had risen, and his strength had increased once more. The Flameborn Blade had proven its worth. It was more than just a weapon—it was a key part of his growing power.

Vale paused for a moment, looking at the fallen wolves. They were nothing but a stepping stone on his journey. He had extracted strength from the boar, refined his sword, and defeated the wolves without breaking a sweat. The world was vast, and the enemies would only get stronger, but Vale knew one thing for certain: he was ready.

With a deep breath, he continued down the path, his Flameborn Blade gleaming at his side. The journey had only just begun, and Vale was prepared to meet it head-on, no matter the cost.
