AFTERMATH AND CONTROVERSIES

The new gods were on the horizon. Leo and Vultra didn't think much of it, but they both combined their powers together and created a new planet—the size of two universes. They created life on it and established a functioning ecosystem. The life they created excluded humans, as neither of them yet possessed the power to create a human being.

Leo and Vultra now had a new goal: to terraform this vast new world. Disappearing from the surface of the planet, they returned to their previous one.

They headed straight for the king of the world. Along the way, some of the royal bodyguards attempted to block their path, but both Leo and Vultra easily phased them out of existence without even acknowledging them. With that, they walked confidently into the throne room.

The king was currently in a meeting with his officials. Without hesitation, Leo and Vultra manifested two thrones—each reflecting their cosmic alignment. Leo's throne radiated the essence of Yang, while Vultra's pulsed with the energy of Yin. Sitting upon them with effortless elegance, they began chatting as they waited for the king to notice their presence.

Leo spoke casually. "We just saved the entire multiverse… but we still don't have any hoes. Why are we so unlucky?"

Vultra sighed. "You act just like someone from my past… someone I once knew."

"Oh?" Leo replied, leaning forward curiously. "Who's that?"

Vultra answered, "His name is Fenrier. He's the original god of the werewolves. He was my best friend… well, before you, at least."

Leo's demeanor changed. His expression became serious, even melancholic.

"Is something wrong?" Vultra asked gently.

Leo's eyes turned glassy. "It's just… you've had a good life. Better than me. Humanity showed me their darkest side. Sometimes, I wonder why I haven't turned evil."

Vultra smiled softly. "Do you know why?"

Leo paused, unsure.

Vultra continued, "It's because of your resolve. I know you endured all that pain because somewhere deep down, you believed that, even if you were suffering now, it would all be worth it. You did it for others. You held on… and that's what made you strong. For me, Leo, you are the reason this version of Vultra even exists. You gave me a second chance—a path to redemption. For that, I'm more grateful than you'll ever know."

Leo chuckled weakly. "To be honest, even I didn't know why I stayed good. But I guess it doesn't matter. From now on, I'll try my utmost to grow stronger—not for glory, but to be the shield for my family, my friends… heck, even the gods."

Just then, the door opened. The king and his officials entered the room. They froze when they saw Leo and Vultra sitting comfortably on the thrones, looking completely at ease.

With smirks that seemed perfectly synchronized, Leo and Vultra began their act.

Leo said, "Oh, what do we have here?"

The king tensed. "Who are you, and what do you want?"

Vultra laughed. "Is that how you greet your saviors, oh cowardly king?"

The king scowled. "Do you even know who you're talking to?"

Leo stood and replied coolly, "I think I should be the one saying that." He then activated his aura.

The room trembled. The pressure forced the king and his entire entourage to their knees.

"Now that's more like it," Leo said, his eyes glowing. "Know your place."

Vultra nodded. "Alright, enough gloating." He released the pressure, allowing the officials to breathe again.

The king, catching his breath, stood tall once more. His expression was grim. "What do you want?"

Vultra answered, "How would you like to be vacated to a new planet?"

The room fell into stunned silence. Even the king blinked in disbelief.

Leo turned to Vultra and said, "I'll take it from here."

Facing the king, Leo explained, "My friend here meant everything he said. How would you like to continue your people's existence on another world? One recently discovered at the peak of the war. It's massive—about the size of a whole universe. Your species would be the only human race in existence there. You'd be neighbors with the beasts… and perhaps something even more special later on."

The king was silent for a moment. He then asked, "Would you give us a month to decide?"

Leo smirked. "Of course. Take as much time as you need." His tone shifted, darker now. "But just know—the opportunity won't last forever. If I were you, I'd make use of it."

He grinned. "We'll be waiting. One month."

With that, Leo and Vultra vanished.

The king sat down, thinking deeply. His advisors began whispering nervously among themselves.

Meanwhile, on the new planet, the scene shifted to Leo and Vultra.

Leo asked, "What should we name this planet?"

Vultra replied, "Why don't we ask our races?"

Leo nodded and telepathically contacted the high guards. "Assemble both races," he commanded.

The guards bowed and left to carry out the order.

Leo and Vultra continued walking.

"I think it's time we move on to dividing the territories," Leo suggested.

"There's no need," Vultra said. "Not until we're done terraforming it. Then we can discuss that."

Just then, a girl leaped onto Vultra, hugging him tightly.

"Brother, why are you so tense?" she asked, beaming.

Leo blinked. "Vultra… is that your sister?"

"Yeah," Vultra said casually.

She turned her attention to Leo, and her face immediately turned bright red. She blushed furiously.

Vultra raised an eyebrow, glancing between the two. "Leo… can I talk to you for a moment?"

Leo nodded. "Sure, no problem."

They walked off to a more secluded area.

Vultra crossed his arms. "I don't want to see you near my sister."

Leo raised an eyebrow, playing dumb. "What do you mean?"

"You're seriously telling me you didn't notice her attitude toward you?" Vultra asked. "She clearly likes you—a lot."

Leo scratched his head nonchalantly. "So that's what you're warning me about?"

"Oh?" Vultra replied, clearly annoyed. "So you're saying my sister isn't good enough for you? Don't you know she's a real goddess?"

Leo smirked. "Well then… you let the cat out of the bag yourself. Me and your sister are going on a date. I won't be a virgin anymore!"

"If you dare touch my sister," Vultra growled, "I'll rip your balls off."

"Too late!" Leo called as he teleported away.

"GET BACK HERE!" Vultra shouted, chasing after him. The two sprinted through the forest-like landscape, laughing and shouting insults as they went.

Eventually, they both collapsed onto the grass, gazing at the alien skies.

"You know," Vultra said, "we need to create a moon."

Leo nodded. "Yeah, and a lot of other things too. It'll take time, but it'll be worth it."

They lay there silently for a while.

Elsewhere, far beyond their dimension, the multiversal gods were growing restless. A meeting had been called at the grand temple of eternity. All the gods sat in a circle, each within their own divine realm projected into the chamber. At the center stood a crystal pillar that recorded all divine activity throughout existence.

One god stood tall, wearing a furious expression. "We've got a problem," he declared. "Leo and Vultra are alive. Not only that… they've fused and unfused, created an entire planet, and now they're interfering with mortal society."

Another god, his tone colder and more analytical, responded, "I saw it. Their fusion broke through every conceivable boundary. They managed to replicate our own creative power. If they do this again… they may become us."

Murmurs of worry echoed through the assembly.

A female god raised her hand. "What do you suggest we do?"

The furious god growled, "I say we strike them down before they even consider ascending. They've had their fun. We allowed them leeway during the war, but this has gone too far."

A grizzled old god interjected. "You speak of striking down two beings who singlehandedly saved the multiverse from Denzan. Think before you act."

Another god, seated on a throne of stars, spoke up. "This isn't about vengeance. It's about preservation. If they can create a planet now… what will they do in ten years? They're evolving at a rate that not even we can match."

Silence fell again.

Then, the Grand Arbiter of the gods stood. His voice was neutral, but powerful. "Enough. Let's vote. All in favor of declaring Leo and Vultra as fugitives… raise your hand."

One by one, hands began to rise.

The Arbiter counted. "Seventy-three in favor. Four against. One abstaining."

He turned solemnly to the central pillar. "So be it. Leo and Vultra are now fugitives of the multiversal order. Elimination or eternal exile are the only options."

Back on their planet, Leo and Vultra felt it immediately. A strange ripple coursed through their very souls.

Vultra's eyes widened. "Leo…"

"I felt it," Leo said grimly. "They've branded us."

A godly presence began manifesting in the skies above them. Space twisted, forming a divine portal.

Vultra tensed. "They're coming."

Suddenly, the portal cracked.

From it stepped not one, but five gods—each wielding powers that bent reality itself.

Before they could even speak, another force slammed into the ground with blinding speed. Dust exploded outward.

When it cleared, a figure stood between Leo, Vultra, and the gods.

"Valse…" Leo whispered.

The rogue god turned to them. "I came as soon as I sensed the vote. We don't have much time. You need to leave this dimension."

One of the pursuing gods shouted, "Valse! You dare betray the Council?"

Valse smirked. "Let's just say I never believed in your corrupt system."

With a flick of his hand, Valse tore open a hidden dimensional gate. "Go! I'll buy you time."

Leo looked to Vultra, then back to Valse. "We'll come back for you."

Valse grinned. "I'm counting on it."

With that, Leo and Vultra leaped through the gate.

The gods charged, but Valse unleashed a blinding wave of light, stalling them long enough for the gate to seal.

Now, Leo and Vultra stood in a strange new realm—a hidden world between dimensions. The sky shimmered with shifting colors, and the ground pulsed with ancient energy.

Leo fell to his knees. "We're fugitives now."

Vultra placed a hand on his shoulder. "Then let's become so powerful… even the gods will fear to chase us."

A new chapter had begun. The hunted were now evolving.
