Poisonious hunt

Ravihiro continued his journey deeper into the wilderness, his senses sharp and his mind focused. This time, his goal was a ten-lakh-year-old beast that resided in the Poisonous Abyss, a creature feared for its lethal venom and unparalleled cunning. The Aranchnis Venomfang, a massive spider known for its web of death, was his target.

The journey was far from uneventful. As Ravihiro traversed the treacherous terrain, he came across a peculiar man lounging on a fallen tree, humming an annoyingly cheerful tune. The man wore a green cloak embroidered with venomous designs, and his sharp eyes gleamed with mischief.

"Hey there, stranger!" the man called out, hopping off the tree. "What brings a grim face like yours into the land of doom and gloom?"

Ravihiro ignored him and continued walking, but the man persistently followed.

"The silent type, huh? Let me guess—you're either on a quest for revenge or hunting a beast. Or maybe both? Oh, let me introduce myself. I'm Samael, master of poison, manipulator of toxins, and overall great guy!"

Ravihiro sighed internally but kept moving.

"You know, you look like the type who doesn't talk much," Samael continued, walking alongside him. "Don't worry. I can talk enough for both of us. So, what's your story? Lost a loved one? Need a deadly pet? Or just bored and decided to fight death itself?"

Ravihiro finally spoke, his voice low and uninterested. "I'm hunting."

"Oh, a hunter! We're already best friends," Samael said with a grin. "You must be after the Aranchnis Venomfang. It's the only creature in these parts worth the trouble. Mind if I tag along? I've always wanted to see someone get eaten by it."

Ravihiro shot him a sideways glance. "Do what you want, just don't get in my way."

Samael clapped his hands. "Oh, I won't. I'll just watch and commentate. Maybe offer some advice if you're about to die."

The Poisonous Abyss

The duo reached the Poisonous Abyss, a desolate pit filled with a green miasma that made breathing difficult. The air was thick with the stench of decay, and the ground was littered with the skeletal remains of past adventurers.

"Charming place, isn't it?" Samael quipped, covering his nose with a cloth. "Home sweet home for the big bad spider."

Ravihiro's Ryugan activated, scanning the area. He spotted faint traces of webbing and a massive silhouette lurking in the shadows.

"There," he said, unsheathing Kageha.

As they ventured closer, the Aranchnis Venomfang revealed itself. The beast was monstrous, with eight glimmering eyes, legs covered in jagged spikes, and a body that shimmered with toxic green. It screeched, its venom dripping from its fangs and hissing as it hit the ground.

"Lovely creature," Samael said, stepping back. "Have fun with that!"

The spider lunged at Ravihiro, its speed astonishing for its size. Ravihiro sidestepped and slashed with Kageha, only for his blade to bounce off the beast's tough exoskeleton.

"Need a hand?" Samael called out, conjuring a cloud of green mist around his hands. He sent tendrils of poisonous energy toward the spider, but they barely slowed it down.

Ravihiro leapt into the air, summoning his Blade Wind Ring. A golden-green energy surrounded his blade as he unleashed Ecliptic Slash, sending a wave of sharp energy toward the spider. It hit the beast's leg, severing it.

The spider shrieked, its venom spraying everywhere. Samael ducked behind a rock. "Watch where you aim that thing!"

The beast retaliated, shooting webs that hardened like steel. Ravihiro dodged most of them but was caught by one, the sticky strands tightening around his arm. Samael, to Ravihiro's annoyance, laughed.

"You're stuck! Need help? Should I cut you free? Just kidding, I don't have a blade."

Ravihiro glared at him. "Do something useful."

Samael smirked and sent a wave of toxic energy toward the web, dissolving it. "There you go, Mr. Serious."

The battle raged on, with Ravihiro finally summoning Kageha's power. He activated Tandav - First Form, his movements becoming a blur of speed and precision. His blade struck the spider repeatedly, breaking through its defenses.

As the spider weakened, Ravihiro prepared the final blow. He activated Tandav - Second Form, channeling his spiritual energy into a concentrated strike. The spider let out one last screech before collapsing.

The Ring of Poison

From the spider's remains, a dark-green ring materialized, pulsating with venomous energy. Ravihiro approached it, his body glowing faintly as he absorbed the ring. The energy coursed through him, sharp and venomous, merging with his soul.

"What's this?" Samael asked, watching as Ravihiro absorbed the soul of the beast, transforming into a kageha new form. The Sword of Venom emerged, its edge glinting with a toxic aura.

"You… turned the soul into your weapon?" Samael asked, his eyes wide. "That's insane! Brilliant, but insane!"

Ravihiro sheathed Kageha without responding. Samael grinned. "You're a real piece of work, you know that? I think I'll stick around. You're too interesting to ignore."

Ravihiro sighed but couldn't entirely hide the faint smirk on his face.

"Fine," he said. "Just don't get in my way."

As they left the abyss, Samael continued his chatter, teasing Ravihiro endlessly about his stoic demeanor and single-minded focus. Ravihiro, despite himself, felt a faint amusement. The journey had just begun, and with Samael's antics, it was bound to be an interesting one.
