For all his life, Jason had always been told by the media that the Magic Crystals in the gates could be used as alternative power sources that replaced more destructive sources like fossil fuels. But for some reason, he felt like there was a lot more to it than just that.

Jason had already realized a long time ago that he couldn't trust everything that the government told him through the media, and they always had some hidden agenda behind their actions. And as Jason watched Rachael looking through all the stones meticulously, he could tell that they needed the stones to be perfect and filled with Mana for something more than just alternative fuel.
