Chapter 6

Edward gets home after the detective drops him off, taking his shoes off and running to the kitchen to get something to eat, getting some bread and strawberry jelly, putting everything together and getting ready to eat, but then he is stopped, he hears someone knocking at his door, he goes towards the door, and opens it, revealing a shadow like figure, it was a form of a child, pitch black, Edward immediately closes the door, and goes back to eat his bread with strawberry jelly.

Eating it, he thinks about how he is curious about what that was, but at the same time, he really didn't want to find out either way, since it might be something dangerous or just some weird random kid, he didn't really know what to make out of it, but he tought it was best to ignore it.

After eating, he grabs his phone, and a cold bottle of water, then goes out for a walk. He walks arround a park near his house, admiring the nature, drinks some water and walks so more, then sits on a bench and thinks about everything that has happened so far.

First, the weird thing that him and Rockie found after hearing a explosion outside Rockie's house, wich then supposedly gave Him powers. But then there was also the weird hair colour change, he misses his blonde hair, but he is fine with the white one, but still, is it related somehow to the power? And even if it is, why was his hair black and white first, and then why did it turn full white and Edward hair's turned full black?

The most obvious answer was that it's related somehow to his power, but then that would mean he shared his power with Rockie, wich doesn't fit, since Rockie didn't get any powers, wich was shown from the scale of his energy, so it really makes no sense.

Edward for a moment even questions himself, if maybe his power was.. hair color changing. Wich also couldn't be, since his energy scale was very high.

He gets up, and stretches a bit, then drinks a bit more of water, and starts to head back home, time flied by faster than he tought, and using this opportunity he decides to pass by the grocery store and get some stuff that his parents asked him to get.

He enters the grocery store and gets the stuff he was asked to get, but decides to also grab something for himself, a soda can would be nice, he thinks to himself, but on his way to grab his soda, he gets a call, it was Rockie.

Edward answers the call, and asks what Rockie wanted, Rockie asked if Edward wanted to play some video games, since there wasn't much to do, and Rockie decided to not go to his school tomorrow, wich Edward asked why, where Rockie responded, saying he wanted some time to figure things out tomorrow and take some time to think.

Edward agrees and says he'll be there soon, he then presses to stop the call, turns off his phone and starts walking towards Rockie's house.

Edward after walking for a while, gets to Rockie's house, he goes to the front door and knocks, after some time, Rockie opens the door, and Edward goes inside. They talk for a bit, eat some potato chips, and play video games for some time, and then, Rockie says he has something to ask.

Rockie asks if Edward knows how to use his powers, as up to now, they only know that Edward has powers, but how would he use it is something he has no idea about, Edward responds that not at the moment, and that he'll have to enter some type of training to understand how to use it. Rockie asks how he feels about having powers, and Edward says that it's very interesting, and he couldn't be happier, since it would change the course of his life.

All tough powers are cool, and can change someone's life to the better, since strong people get paid alot to protect the citzens and politicians, just everyone in general, specially since it's a way to incentivate people to be a hero, instead of a villain, and Rockie understands something well, when someone turns into a well respected strong hero, there will always be villains after the hero, since he would be stopping evil from being bigger, as the more strong heroes there are, the more people feel safe, or some even scared to become part of a evil league.

All tough Edward is happy, he doesn't understand how badly things could go for him, and Rockie talks to Edward about it, but he talks it off, saying that he has a strong power according to the scale, or it seems like it at least, so there is nothing he should be scared about, and he isn't a hero yet, so there is no danger at the moment, he explains. But Rockie knows better and reminds Edward of the fact that lots of people were there when he did the test, and most likely there is already information out about him, with his photo.

Edward sighs and says that Rockie is being over dramatic and dumb, thinking too much about the negative of everything. Rockie firmly grabs the controller and throws it at Edward, hitting him in the arm, Edward gets angry and is ready to scream at Rockie when he looks up and gets caught off guard, Rockie was sobbing.
