Sarah's eyes flashed with icy anger, her brows furrowing into a knot.
"Gone? He's disabled. Where could he possibly go in just a few minutes?"
"Go find him immediately!"
The assistant didn't move, instead pulling two stacks of documents from their jacket.
"Sir is missing, but the company's front desk just received two letters addressed to you."
Sarah prepared to open them.
Alex whined, wanting Sarah to feed him strawberries. Sarah impatiently tossed the box of strawberries beside him.
At this moment, she had no patience for anything else. She only wanted to know what kind of game Michael was playing with her.
For some reason, her heart was racing with anxiety.
With trembling hands, she opened the letters.
One was labeled "Contract Termination."
The other read "Divorce Agreement."
"Michael's disabled. How dare he actually file for divorce? Where could he possibly go without me?"
